We chose this moving company because we had used them in the past and had an excellent experience. In fact, we specifically requested the same crew again because of how impressed we were with their previous service. Unfortunately, this move was a completely different experience. The loading process at our old home went smoothly, and the crew even offered to transport my husband’s toolbox at no additional cost. This toolbox is extremely heavy, fully loaded with tools, and valued at approximately $10,000.

I would not recommend them to move your items. I first used them in October 2024 and had a few minor damages on furniture, but overall was pleased, then I used them again in May 2025 since the experience wasn’t too bad. My items were moved to a storage unit facility because I was building a house. My filing cabinets were damaged, I had a couple of items that didn’t get wrapped and are now damaged with scratches, and when my dressers were put in the storage unit they were turned upside down and everything is a…

Hired for an interstate move and packing. The whole experience was acceptable, but I'm left somewhat disappointed. The packing done well, but loading into their truck and unloading into a storage unit was haphazard resulting in several boxes getting crushed and a tote cracked open. Our treadmill was damaged when they disassembled it but their agreement doesn't allow treadmill claims, so I'd advise having a professional disassemble exercise equipment it before hand.

Made a reservation more than a month ahead of time. They stood us up on the day of the move. According to the manager, they took a text msg to cancel from someone else (not my cell #) and they didn’t use my name to cancel either. Sent a cancellation confirmation back to the wrong text and then tried to tell me it was the other guy’s fault. I called the other cell and his last name wasn’t even close to mine. They did return my deposit but that’s minor compared to a no-show to move a whole house.

If I could give this company a zero I would. The guys who moved me and loaded my truck were all great. However, the company lost quite a bit of my property. Shame on me for agreeing on a contract would not protect me. They offered me $60 for over $1,000 of lost product. They misplaced part of my couch. How in the world does that happen! They did not pack some of my books and left them in a metal crate. There was a leak in there moving truck and these books were soaking wet completely unusable.

My wife and I moved 3 years ago in December of 2019, and having much time to reflect, and it took them three days to move us here, we have determined we are missing many things that never made it to the house. I commented at the time to no avail so done? Of course I find this extremely disturbing but some of the items were way too obvious to ignore and drew our attention to start to really pay attention.

If you’re looking for the slowest movers who make a small job an 8 hour job, this is the company for you. Estimate was $1100-$1300 and final cost was over $1700 Movers took their time in between every single item that they moved (appeared to be very intentional) . The moving crew was awesome, Lucas and his partner really busted their butts to get the job done. They were friendly and respectful, and did their best. This would be a 5 star review if it wasn't for the fact that Coffee way underquoted us. We ended up paying 500 dollars more than what they quoted us originally. This hurts a lot when you're on a fixed income. I'm pretty upset about that. We gave very detailed info about what was to be moved and how limited our capabilities were.

Accurate estimate, great communication, and fabulous job on the move. So professional but also congenial, took great care of both my items and were super careful about walls/doors, etc. Even with all that extra care they were still super efficient. I booked them for my move based on great reviews and they certainly earned them. I've relocated a lot for my job, used dozens of movers and Coffee is one of the best I've used.

A friend of mine who had just recently moved highly recommended Coffee Movers. Even though I was not moving from or to the Dayton area, they were able to accommodate me. They were very upfront and honest with their pricing and how it would work. A few days before the move, they called to see if I had any questions and confirmed the time I should expect the team. I received another reminder the day before. The day of the 3 man team showed up on time and introduced themselves.

My mom just passed away and I had to empty her house quickly but safely , She had so much nice furniture and antiques. Chris and Cody from Coffee Movers helped turn this nightmare into a dream day. I will recommend them to all family and friends that I have. I can never thank them enough and say what a relief this is on our family. I could go into detail about how everything was wrapped perfectly move carefully nothing was scratched, but there are too many compliments to list.

Our experience with Coffee Movers was excellent! The estimator, Justin, gave us a realistic picture of how the items we wanted to move would fit into the smaller space where we were moving my elderly mother. The estimate was very detailed, listing exactly how many items would be packed and the supplies needed in order to pack them. Our estimate was the same as the final price, and it was worth every penny! Throughout the process, the office staff, Kay and Kelly, were very responsive to our needs.
