Affordable Movers

Unfortunately, I've had an extremely negative, ongoing experience, with Affordable Movers management. I was moved on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. I noticed a small amount of damage on a large photo frame and footboard of my bed frame. I called to submit the damage and was told to leave a voicemail for the manager which I did and never received a call back. I called two more times, both times leaving voicemails, with no call back.

Awful they were three hours late we thought stood us up .so we left to move some stuff ourselves they never called or updated us till the last minute or answer their phones would not recommend to anyone thanks to them I didnt get move into my new apartment today .very unprofessional .

Movers had no respect for our items. Boxes labeled fragile or glass were ignored, King size mattress was severely tore, cost nearly tripled the quote, knicks, scrapes and paint on furniture. Would not recommend unless you want to babysit and keep detailed documentation. We were quoted $810 and charged $2100. This was our first time hiring movers and would not do it again. I was hopeful from the reviews they’d care to make things right. Next step is BBB and Attorney General

DO NOT USE! Terrible customer service Check their Yelp reviews as well. Much different picture than the Google reviews. (1.1 stars on 30 reviews) The movers (Brett and Avery) were very polite and helpful. I wish I could say the same thing for the front office. I contacted Frank initially and requested a quote to have 2 pieces of weight equipment moved into my basement.

I had high hopes for this moving company based on initial communication and setup—they seemed great leading up to the move. However, things took a turn on moving day. Originally, I was scheduled for a 9:00am–11:00am window, but I was informed the day before that it had been changed to 12:00pm. Unfortunately, the movers didn’t arrive until 1:15pm, making them 4.5 hours late from the original scheduled time. What made the delay even more frustrating was the lack of clear updates or reliable communication in between.

Jake, Jeremy, and Carson were fantastic and finished super fast. They were professional took great care with our belongings. Thank you all!! UPDATE: We were quoted a rate for 2 movers but 3 showed up. 1/2 were on their first day. Cynthia told us we would be billed at the same rate because one or two of them were training. We also did not get the bigger truck which would have made the move go much faster since they spent most of their time fitting it in the smaller truck.

Management is horrible. My TV was broken in the process of moving. It's been 2 weeks since the move and was told my replacement would be delivered yesterday and they gave no tracking or an ETA so I took the whole day off of work because I did not want a 75" tv sitting on my porch while I was at work. Tv never came. I tried contacting them multiple times throughout the day and they started screening my calls and wouldn't respond to texts. Here we are the next day and they are still beating around the bush about it.

The movers did great but the customer service on the admin side of things is ridiculously insulting. The movers lost a piece of my gym equipment. I called this office and told them that my very specialized piece of gym equipment was lost by the movers and they told me to send them a quote and they will pay for it. I sent the quote and got no response. We have called every single day for weeks and they must have our number blocked. If you want a moving company that has accountability, do not go here.
