WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY — COMPLETE SCAM This was hands down the WORST experience I have ever had with a moving company. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and manipulative. There are hidden fees, shady tactics, and absolutely no accountability. They were scheduled to arrive at 8:00 AM — they didn’t show up until 10:05 AM. Once they arrived, they took a few photos, borrowed my broom, and then disappeared downstairs until 11:02 AM, doing absolutely nothing.
8/10/24 -This place is a SCAM!! I hired them for my move. My move was for 9am. They called telling me they move it to 1-3pm estimate time. No one showed up. By 5pm I kept calling. No answer. They took my deposit and no one ever showed up. I had to call another moving company to move me. 9/5/24 - I am now coming back to write another review regarding this company. I have contacted my bank to dispute my deposited since NO ONE showed up.
I would give them No Stars at all! At the end of February 2025, I hired this company for my residenrial move. These people are crooks and will rob you blind. I believe most of the reviews here are paid or fabricated. This company quoted me an amount and then blackmailed me for an additional $1000 above what the move was quoted for. This was a short trip at 15 minutes distance. They brought the truck to the delivery location and would not unload until I paid them their outrageous ransom monies.
Actual nightmare movers. I regret calling Coffey Bros. I gave them a DETAILED list of our furniture, right down to the amount of mops, the size of couches and amount of beds we have. They told me their largest truck will do the job. I wish I knew the job included leaving 25% of our furniture at the old house because “the truck doesn’t fit all your furniture.” They argued for a good 20 minutes that we needed a semi instead after they packed our furniture … They knew exactly how much furniture we had and accepted…
Unfortunately, I had a similar experience to the people in the most recent posts. Was told that the maximum amount would be $1250 but would most likely be $850 for the move. The drivers took three hours to get to my place and I had to call them to find out what was going on. It took me an hour and 50 minutes to get to my place. They told me they were given the wrong address and that they had to stop for gas When they got to my place they told me the total cost would be $1500 and that was after a $250 deposit.
Upon arrival, the balance due was demanded prior to the movers touching anything. The $260. deposit was already paid, the remainder of $207 was to be paid upon completion of move. The discussion of paying for service not even begun lasted 11 minutes of my hour..and I caved, paying as there was no recourse and I would loose my $260. Once we began, another phone call interrupted the moving process. The owner was focused on the credit card info....and the moving process was stopped.
I would rather move everything myself on my back than getting these people again. I moved back in August within a 10 mins drive and it was a total mess. They sent me an extra helper so it could be a faster move(3 hrs) and it ended up taking them a whole day to move the bigger items(they charge by the hour) my husband detached the furniture the night before so it could be a smooth move and on top of that the movers damaged my furniture.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst experience ever! While the movers were extremely polite, they are not skilled movers. They broke a pipe while trying to remove my washer and flooded my home the day before closing and my buyer's walk- through. Over $5000 worth of items were damaged or broken. Some of the items were damaged in my presence while the movers were unloading the truck others were visibly damaged already as they brought the items off the truck.
This is a FAKE review left by the company Grand Champion Movers in Tampa and it is extremely unprofessional. Google does not condone this type of behavior and the review has been reported for removal. We will seek Legal action if this is not removed immediately. Management

In their own words
I finally did my first big move on my own and the two men who helped me were so professional and efficient. Dante and his partner were so friendly and punctual. The two of them did a phenomenal job with the large, long move I required. Even the call staff that helped me set up my move were so helpful and responsive. Lastly, the price of the move was extremely competitive. The estimates I was given from other companies were astronomically high. Coffey Bros quoted me fairly and ethically for my move requirements.
Moves are hard to begin with, especially with a large family in the middle of the summer in Florida!. They are hard for the guys giving their strength and sweat for you. Richie Ony Carlos, and Steven gave it their all. They were personable, careful, and phenomenal. Most of all, they cared about us. You won’t go wrong if you get this crew. Ask for Richie, he was the manager over the move. He was so very nice to work with. He listened to all my requests.
My moving experience with your company was most positive and satisfying. Richie and his crew arrived on time and very quickly and efficiently packed up our heavier furniture (bed, sleeper sofa, two television sets) and various boxes, and loaded up their truck for the move. Once at the new location, unloading was done quickly with no difficulties. In addition, one crew member took it upon himself to assemble our bed.
All around great experience. After reaching out, I immediately had someone contact me for a quote and to get booked. The price was a little bit steeper than other movers I’ve used over the years but for good reason I’ve found! Richie and Ony were amazing. They contacted me before getting to the house, did a walkthrough of all the items, and then got to work, taking care to wrap each item and breaking things down to conserve space.
