MVP Moving

Do not use this company. I booked them through U-Haul due to fantastic reviews and I never heard a word from them before the move. I had to call several times and then again they only answered on the Tuesday before the move when my roommate called that the owner answered very unprofessionally. They never did an inventory investigation to give me a proper quote on time or money. He just stated “oh yeah I have you. Be there at 10:30”.

This was my 2nd time booking with MVP, I booked it through U-Haul help and and specified my Loading was a studio apartment in Kissimmee and my Unloading was in Tavares just 45 miles away. They accepted the job. Showed up an hour late and finished loading the truck within 1 hour. When I gave them my specified unloading address. I got a call from the manager insisting that Kissimmee to Tavares was almost 2 hours, it is 1 hour and I was planning on paying them for the travel. I was still told, no they wouldn't come.

I do not recommend this company at all. I booked my move directly with the owner, but on moving day he sent two people who do not even work for him. What he does is take on moving jobs and subcontract them to two young guys who simply rent a truck and handle the move themselves. They do not wrap or protect your belongings, and they handle everything with no care at all. They threw my furniture and boxes on the floor, and as a result, almost all of my furniture and personal belongings were damaged.

One of our computer monitors broken during the transition from the pod to the storage room. We reached out to the company about what could be done to make it right, or what’s typically done in those situations, and received no response. They were very responsive leading up to the move, but failed to respond after the reported problem.

This was my second move with MVP Moving and I was very excited to have the opportunity to work with them again as my first move went so well. I booked through U-Haul and on the day of my move the time for arrival changed two times. Not a big deal as I was still trying to get things organized in my apartment. Once the movers arrived they began moving things out, however when my mom left to go get more boxes she found my belongings all over my apartment building unattended as well as boxes riding up and down the…

I’m giving this 0 stars …One of the worst moving companies - do not book with these people. We had booked them for a move out for 1 bed room new location only a 15 min drive away with very little big furniture to move …that took them over 6 hours ( which consisted of them sitting on the job and moving at a slow pace to get paid more) - not to mention there were 30 minutes late..when we contacted the owner he sounded so clueless and wanted to be empathetic later to find out he was a sneaky person..I had to keep…

Hired for 2 hours through U Haul to help unload. I had previously asked if they could help assemble beds if time remained. Took an hour to unload. (Guys did a good job). They said thry did not have tools and they needed to go to another move but would send others with the toolbox in an hour or so. My mistake, I paid them based on their word someone would return. No one ever came back. I tried calling and texting. Since I had given payment code, U Haul said there was nothing they could do.

While the movers were nice they unfortunately broke my tv and when I called the boss for them to replace it he kept giving me empty promises. He is an unserious person and kept saying he would call back but did not. I personally can not recommend this company and I sure will never be using them again.
