In their own words
Impossible to get hold of the moving coordinator once the move has been booked. Our household goods were loaded on the truck and then unloaded and then reloaded. Numerous items were damaged. Several items missing and impossible to get a hold of the coordinator. We were told missing items were located in the warehouse and would have been sent to us 6 weeks ago but they never contacted us and again it's impossible to get a hold of anybody in the company.
The movers themselves were amazing. The young lady who helped us worked incredibly fast, and the entire crew was kind, professional, and made the whole process easy. They took a huge weight off our shoulders, and they deserve recognition for their hard work. The only reason I’m giving such a low rating is because of my experience with Helen. She was incredibly rude, unprofessional, and by far the worst part of this entire experience.
What a joke. Our unaccompanied baggage will be delayed and Coleman American Moving Services is blaming Travis Airforce Base for the delay so that they do not have to pay us an inconvenience claim. Even though Coleman Moving picked up our UB on November 4th and did not deliver it to Travis AFB until 12/1 with a required delivery date of 12/12. If they blame the delay on the AMC they are not required to reimburse for inconvenience.
The representative who sold us our moving package was very good. But the rest was a disaster. Our stuff had to go into Coleman’s warehouse and the driver picked our stuff up and asked where the sofa was and they said there was no sofa and he said there’s always a sofa and it was on the packing list. When our stuff was delivered our sofa was missing. It took them 7 days and I had to call them everyday and I asked for the general managers number and email on the 7th day .
These people are total trash!! The army needs to end their contract with these guys! Almost everything I own is destroyed! When they came to pack up my stuff, and ship it over seas, I noticed there were big holes in the crates. Well the workers thought it was funny that I was saying something about it and kept assuring me that they would “replace” the broken parts when they got back to the warehouse.. well I just received my stuff.. and it looks like the crate with all my military gear in it was dropped..

Awful experience!!!! What a nightmare my move has been! I did a long distance move with them from New Mexico to Michigan. To start they were doing our packing I was told the day before the packers would be there between 9-10 in the morning they didn't show up until noon! This two hour delay made my husband almost miss his flight. Then it was packed on one truck to go to their warehouse.
A surveyor came to my house to see what it was that needed to be shipped. I asked about a pair of jet skis and he assured me that they would be shipped. The movers came and told me that the truck was already packed and that they are not going to take them. I called a gentleman that was in charge of the move and assured me that they were going to pick them up in an hour....It came and went. Day 2, my mother called me to help her with a family emergency, so I left.
Packers were unprofessional as they were packing my stuff for an overseas move. They were arguing amongst themselves and gossiping to each other about why so and so on their crew was mad when that person was not in the room. I had to remind them multiple times to pack small stuff that they kept leaving out of boxes.

From the initial contact to final delivery, the team demonstrated outstanding communication and attention to detail. They promptly answered all my questions, kept me informed of shipment timelines, and ensured I was fully prepared for each step.
We just had Coleman movers pack up our house yesterday. This is our 7th military move and these were the best movers we have ever had! Eric, Elizabeth, and Sylvia were phenomenal! They took such good care of our stuff and were so fast! They finished our whole house in just one day. As an added bonus each one of them were friendly, helpful, and professional. We couldn’t be happier! Today they loaded up our trucks and the loaders were also amazing!
Great professional moving crew We had a great experience with our PCS move delivery with this company. Our crew (Ray, Harvey, and Nicholas) were very professional, respectful, and careful with our property. There were several items of furniture that were damaged in the move, but I'm more inclined to believe that this was due to the relatively careless packing of the loading crew rather than due to this crew.
I would like to recognize Mr. Lawson for the exceptional service he provided during the pickup of my household goods. From the moment he arrived, Lawson demonstrated a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to ensuring the process was smooth and stress-free. He handled every item with care, maintained clear communication throughout the day, and worked efficiently without compromising the quality of his work.
