In their own words
DON’T USE. I had a horrible experience with College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving Minnetonka and have had no resolution through working with the individual franchise. There was gross negligence in sending untrained movers for a professional move. I had thousands of dollars in damage. The furniture was not protected or secured properly during move and storage, resulting in 8 items being damaged.

No show, no call on moving day despite booking months in advance and having them come out to do a quote. It took over a month to get my deposit from them. Never talked with them after the quote as they refused to talk to me. I only talked to corporate who were equally as frustrated with the situation but there was obviously nothing they could do and were as nice and helpful as possible. I could go on about what an absolute nightmare situation this was but the short is, avoid them at all costs.

Worst experience of my life Shelly the GM is probably the most incompetent person I've ever encountered. The movers were careless and broke our glass table, scratched the wall and damaged our flooring. I've tried to contact these people numerous time to file a claim and they have failed to do so I signed a liability waiver and they are suppose to cover and damages but this lady is avoiding are calls. The movers are not hunks by the way three skinny men who can barely lift anything.

Low rate you were promised is just deception, they will find a way to triple that amount. They broke my dining table and chairs today and I can't get a hold anyone to file a claim. This company charge by the hour however the workers will prolong than usual, it's just a trick to get more money. Stay from this scammers. I think all these 5 stars are fake. I wish I could give them zero stars.

Careless and deceptive. During my move they damaged not one but two high priced pieces of art after insisting that they could move them safely as I was considering transporting the paintings separately. Purchased insurance because of their …

I'm not sure if I just had an off day with this company or what. The two men who came to take the unwanted furniture were very polite, very professional. The movers I had originally booked to take all my things out of town to my new …

After a 30+ cross country move, our movers from college hunks never showed up within the agreed upon time to help unload our truck. We had our reservation booked in advanced. We are severely disappointed with Conrade and his team.

Conrad and his partner moved some lights for me. They were fantastic to work with! Took extra care of my items, they were prompt and courteous too. I will use them again for any moving or junk hauling needs I have.

The Professor was amazing. He moved our couch from my 7th floor apt in less than 20 mins. It was pretty beat up so I wouldn't dare donate it with inner body being the hangout for my friend's cats. I only wish we didn't have to wait an hour and a half for him to come. Please note the pickup time you choose is the beginning of the waiting period. So I chose 4pm and he got here around 5:30pm. Thankfully, he got here before my husband left for his night shift at 6pm.

The team was super communicative, responsive and respectful. Better pricing that the competitors that came by to remove junk, and were able to donate our items (vs dumping them like the other companies). All around felt great about using them and they delivered.
