My review is based on interactions between the owner, Art, and issues with him improperly storing his work vehicles. Art is beyond inconsiderate. The company has been using our street to store their vehicles for the past month, making it hard to see out if my driveway, as well as emptying other trucks into theirs in front of my house while we try to get our kids to school and activities. When we called Art, and asked him to move, he did not care at all.
We pride ourselves in our communication and positive attitude towards all our clients and customers, and hope that we are treated the same in return. However, in this case, we didn't receive either unfortunately.

Custom Moving Solutions packed, stored for several months, and delivered and unpacked our belongings. They were flexible and responsive to our changing schedule. To quote from my wife’s text: “You sent a 5-star team. They showed up early (!). They worked non-stop to place and unpack our belongings to our specifications. They were respectful, careful, friendly, so helpful, and so efficient. Please let them know how much we appreciated them. Thank you for training them well.”

We live out of the area. However, we have a relative who lives in Castro Valley. Four years ago we used Custom Moving Solutions to move this relative into an Assisted Living Residence and to remove junk. They were quite efficient and helpful. Fast forward to two recent jobs. We needed our relative's bed to be removed so a hospital bed could be delivered. My husband called Custom Moving Solutions and they not only provided the service but also coordinated the time with the Assisted Living Residence.

Exceptional service from start to finish I hired Custom Moving Solutions to move heavy gym equipment from my office across town to my garage, and they completely delivered. The two workers who showed up were on time, professional, and extremely careful with everything. You could tell they took real pride in handling heavy, expensive equipment the right way. What really stood out is that they didn’t just drop everything off — they went above and beyond by helping set the equipment back up once we got to the garage.

I cannot say enough good things about this organization. I had to clear out my brother's San Francisco apartment after he moved to an assisted living facility. I did do a lot of upfront sorting into categories of donate , recycle, take to assisted living facility, and trash. The two men who came were friendly, efficient, and helpful. They worked quickly but carefully to wrap delicate items.
