This company moved me 10 months ago & promised that special care would be given to all my family antique heirlooms. Upon delivery it was clearly evident that many of my heirlooms were severely damaged as well as my grandfather's 100 yr old 2.5 foot statue was never delivered. The company insisted that it was delivered & then turned around & offered money. If the statue was "delivered", then why offer money? Was the statue damaged beyond recognition or stolen, I can not say. All I know is I don't have it.
This should have been a simple, local move that was anything but. First of all, the movers were supposed to arrive at my unit at 10am, they didn’t arrive until 10:45am. I had a discussion w/ the 3 guys before we started. They did NOT listen to a word I said. Once we got to my new place, I instructed them to put everything in the driveway & gave them instructions as to what items would go in first & last, etc… At 2:30pm I get a call from the owner to say that 1 of his guys called him to say that I am giving them…
Wouldn't recommend they were late talking and on the phone the whole time and stole my moms tool on top of it and then tryed to charge us more later on because the men went over the time well if im being timed then make sure your guys aren't making stops or talking or on the phone I dont pay for that and then he blocked me from messages very unprofessional and I gave the guys a tip
Your job was scheduled for the afternoon, pending completion of our first job. When our first job took longer, this was immediately communicated to you, at which time you still agreed for our crew to come when they could.

Dan & Sons are the BEST!!! They helped my 75 year old mom move after being in her home for 30 years. They carefully wrapped and organized everything for her move (in partnership with Pretty Packers), and were so efficient and thorough to make sure all of her items were safe. They communicated any questions or concerns directly with my mom and made sure the decisions were hers and hers alone. The whole team was incredibly kind and thoughtful.
Can’t say enough good things about this company. The team was punctual, professional, and polite; each member was efficient, hardworking, and respectful of my property. Dan provided a fair and accurate estimate; there were no surprises or additional costs at the completion of the move. Highly recommended them!
Return Customer Review- Dan & Sons Moving company rocked it again for our big family of 5, 5 fur babies, and large bamboo garden! We moved from a 2-story to 2-story in Jacksonville. It was an all day move for the 4 man crew from sun up-sun down. They worked so diligently to get us completely moved in smoothly without any damages or mishaps. The last time they moved us was nearly 2 years ago and we would use them again if we ever move again! Thanks again for being the best moving company!
