In their own words
We had a very unpleasant experience with Daymakers and I definitely would not recommend using them. The movers damaged furniture, chipped walls on both ends of the move, and came unprepared for the move - no straps for lifting heavier items and not enough blankets for wrapping furniture and mattresses. We had mattresses, box springs, and a couch that had black smudges and dirt all over the end where the items were placed in the truck uncovered and unprotected.
The actual movers worked very hard, we had a couple pieces of furniture with minor damage. During the move they put a melon sized hole in our wall, their resolution, was to take $25 off the billl or that they could have a repair man come out in 2-3 months. Neither of these were acceptable options, I advised I wouldn’t pay my bill until it was repaired. That led to them getting someone out the following week. We paid our bill the day after the invoice was received, they continue to follow up for it.
We initially gave a rating of a 1 but didn’t provide specific details. It has now been 5 weeks since our move. This was not our first time hiring a moving company so unfortunately for Daymakers we have previous experience with a different …
The issue is with the pricing model - the company charges a fixed fee for packing services...so when the packers take a 1.5 hour lunch break and leave many, many items unpacked ("the movers will get that"), you end up paying extra because …

HIRE THEM!!!! I have used Daymakers several times to move office spaces, and most recently to our new home. They are PHENOMENAL! From the start Dakotah was quick to reply, provided me all the info I needed and answered all my questions along the way. Come the day of, Rob and his crew kept us updated on their arrival time. They took so much care for our home and all of the items they were removing so as not to leave any marks on the carpet, walls, or the items themselves.

Had these two fellows (Middle and right in photo) show up ready and willing to work hard. We had some bulky equipment to move in some heavy hitting heat/humidity. I’m glad we chose to hire them as we would have been hopeless without them.
