Move from Hell on January 29, 2025. College Hunks out of Germantown WI. Only quote was from Elizabeth at main office. Didn't see it in writing until 20 minutes after they arrived. Started with 3 guys then added a 4th. Instead of going room by room they were all over the place. Many times just walking around empty handed. Our adult son and daughter were there helping. Our son noted all 4 guys standing outside the truck deciding how to pack it at one point.

I hired College Hunks moving for a long-distance move in July because of the good Google reviews I read online. I read many reviews of other long-distance moving companies detailing nightmare experiences. My recent move with College Hunks turned out to be a nightmare experience from start to finish and the absolute worst move of the 5 moves I have made (two of them being interstate moves). College Hunks claims to provide a stress-free experience, but they do not deliver on this promise at all.

Probably the WORST experience during the worst time of my life. The movers were wonderful!! The junk removal people the first time (Yes, the FIRST time) didn’t remove barely ANYTHING yet I somehow got charged over $900. The SECOND time (a few days later) I thought maybe they’d redeem themselves and return money since I’m hiring them a SECOND TIME to FINISH the job. Well their manager kept telling them they could only be there for a hour and couldn’t do the attic.

If I could give a review with negative stars I would. This moving company is the absolute worst. Extremely untrustworthy, hard to communicate with, and definitely does not care about your items. We had lots of items break during the move and they will not respond to any of our messages or calls about how to resolve this. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR BELONGINGS. They also charged us for 6 full hours of moving labor when they were done in 3. Corporate does absolutely nothing to assist in our claim.

I booked their moving service and paid the $99 deposit. I cancelled before their mandatory 72 hour time frame in order to receive the refundable deposit back. They said I would receive it within 24-72 hours. I never received it. So I called again a couple weeks later and they said the exact same thing. I never received it. Now I have opened up a dispute with my credit card to try and get my money back.
