When calling around to get prices and hours of Operation - the individual (lady) who answered the phone was extremely rude and said only, "Hello." I asked if this was Darrel's Storage, she curtly confirmed and said, "UMmm, we're closed.." and pretty much didn't care to share any information with me and hung up before I could ask anything.... Doesn't sound to me that they are interested in customer service or new business. Would not recommend. EVER.
I called to ask if they had 10x10's available. I was told they had 4 available and the woman was very polite. She told me I just needed to be down there by 6 PM. (They close at 7 PM) I arrived at 5:15 PM and was told by another woman named Renee that she could not rent it to me because she was all done for the day since her computer was being slow. She couldn't have taken my information and input it later?
WARNING DO NOT RENT FROM DARRELLS SELF STORAGE I would never ever ever suggest this facility to anybody not even my enemy! I'm i'm the process of filling out a formal complaint with the better business bureau. They as already have a grade of only a C. My guess it's that this will make it a D or possibly an F as I am disabled and they have been harrassing me since I 21st obtained this unit.
Horrible Customer Service... all locations are ran by older than dirt racist people. They literally have a sign in their restroom saying to not spend more than 10 minutes in their restroom. They NEVER greet you in fact it's like you're bothering them.
You cant be at your storage for more then 2 hours a day! I go the the flea market 2x a week so I'm in and out fairly regularely and it was frustrating getting a warning for being there. I think as long as they are open I should be able to …
