I rented a unit on June 18. On June 19, I called to cancel because we had a change of plans and did not need the unit. I never went to the facility or moved in anything. The facility refused to refund any of my money including the $23 for a lock that was never opened or used. Needless to say, I will look at other facilities when I do need storage in the future.

Beware had to go in to update my insurance so that I wouldn’t be charged a fee for the insurance since I am a home owner they refused to take it off so they charged me a whole month of insurance which is $18 but the principle of it I just didn’t bring in the paper by the deadline was by Dec 1 which is today when I went in to turn it in he said it had to be turned in before today I would not recommend the storage company anymore.

The person helping me named quintin sims was loud and obnoxious and seemed like he had no idea what he was doing please take more care in who you hire

Ms. Sheretta helped me get into a larger storage unit. She made the entire experience an absolute delight. She was kind and courteous and splendidly efficient. She had a smile on her face from the moment I walked in the door and throughout the duration of our exchange. This in and of itself means the world. These days, you rarely have these kinds of experiences anymore when engaging in business, retail, or customer service endeavors. I had a great experience at this Life Storage location. The customer service was superb as the staff members help me sort through all my potential options and ultimately helped find was exactly what I was looking for. They went above and beyond to help me figure out the best option that would coincide with what I personally wanted. The staff was also very accommodating and responsive to any questions or uncertainties I had.

The Life Storage facility at 2310 W Pinhook Road in Lafayette, LA has great security features including 24/7 surveillance, a password protected gate access system and plenty of lighting inside my unit; as well as around the facility's premises. I highly recommend this location! 👍🏼 …
