If I can give this place negative 5 stars I would have. They charged me $125 for a $29 uhaul. Once I noticed all the extra charges I called and spoke with the manager GREG who was so rude and nasty. He wasn't even the one that rented the uhaul out to me. he told me I left Styrofoam boxes on the truck and accused me of stealing 2 furniture blankets, and not filling the truck back up where I got it. Big mistake I made was not looking at that truck before I left.

This place was awesome when it was Fort Knox. The corporate buyout removed EVERY feature I liked. No more 24 access. No more hydraulic lift to reach to top floor units, I’ve been storing there 5 years but suddenly A LIFT is a liability. What ISN’T a liability, evidently, is expecting you to step down almost 2 feet to from floor of your upper unit to the base of the steep rolling stairs while holding boxes.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE A 0.00 I WOULD .I HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THEM YESTERDAY!! A YOUNG MAN BY THE NAME OF LEWIS WAS AT THE FRONT DESK WHEN I RETURNED THE KEYS FOR THE U HAUL RENTAL AND HE BLATANTLY TOLD ME THAT I MUST WAIT UNTIL 5:30 PM WHEN HE IS FINISH WITH HIS PAPER WORK WHEN I ARRIVED AT 5:05PM.HE WAS VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL.TO MAKE THINGS WORSE WHEN I CALLED THE MANAGER TODAY HE TOPPED IT OFF TO SAY YES HE CANT MOVE WHEN HE IS DOING HIS PAPERWORK.THERE WAS NO OTHER CUSTOMERS AND OFFICE WAS…

A couple of years ago, when Devon Self Storage was actually Extra Space, we received exceptional service from Jimmy!! He was very professional, very knowledgeable, and informative. Jimmy explained everything we needed to know about our rental unit. He was very customer service friendly, but since they've purchased the storage site and changed to Devon Self Storage theres been a shift in his demeanor.

Yes, they increase your rent with less than 5 days notice before your rent is due, but require you to give them 30 days notice before you move out. Ever since Midgard took over, this place has gone downhill. It took them just over a year to replace the broken AC units in the back of their "climate controlled" storage......yes it was climate controlled......constant 87 degrees. I have been renting from them since 2004, during that time, they have switched property managers no less than 16 times.

Very poor service. . I went there to rent a storage spot, and the front door was closed with a note saying they will return at 11:00am.......the sign says the hours are 9-6 weekdays. Others that already rent there say this happens all the time with the new manager, Bob. They were there to remove their things because of him, and the intermittent open hours. I'm glad I found out BEFORE I rented.

I was a customer for 13 years, but in the last 2 years a new management company has taken over and increase my 10x10 unit rental from $125 to $170!!! Beware of rapid price increase with no regard to a long term customer loyalty. Security is terrible. Last year they began to give 24 hours access with a 4 digit code. Pretty much any 4 digit code will get you in the building.

This place was great before they sold it to Extra Space. Since the change, they have increased my rent on average every other month. I finally decided the money was not worth it, and in addition to the increase, the manager is very condescending and rude. The place has definitely gone downhill. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.
