UPDATE Summer 2025: We recently utilized Brightleaf's services again to prepare for our move to Virginia. They helped us with packing our boxes and loading the truck. Kai, Carter, and Charlie were professional and overall careful with the packing of our items. We only had a box from the our office that arrived with some books damaged (bent covers), but otherwise were happy with the packing job. They were speedy with loading despite having to work on an extremely hot day.
We used Brightleaf Moving Co in January of this year, so this is review is a bit overdue. After a less-than-stellar experience moving our stuff INTO our storage unit, we wanted to make sure we picked a better team when it was time to empty it. Brightleaf Moving Co looked too good to be true on Google, but we gave them a try. Sloan gave us a reasonable rate and was able to squeeze us in within a pretty short timeframe.
Brightleaf and team did not disappoint! From the first initial contact to completion. I submitted a request online for an estimate on my move, only 7 days in advance of when I needed help. My phone rang, not even a minute after I submitted! After a 5 minute call, reviewing details of my move and getting my questions answered, I had a quote in my email within the hour! There was regular follow up and check ins leading up to move day. Clear communication via phone and email.
The movers at Brightleaf Moving Co. were kind, courteous, and quick. They were flexible when we had a family emergency and moved our time to another day. In addition, the 3-man team, led by Keegan, thoroughly respected our items and us. I had two kids running circles around them and they were incredibly kind to the kids. If you need movers who are child-friendly, these are definitely the ones to call.
