Miracle Movers

I had an absolutely horrific experience with Miracle Movers. They took our money upfront for an overseas move, ghosted us, failed to pay their own partners, and are now refusing to honor our protection plan for heavily damaged items. Avoid this company at all costs. 1. Complete Incompetence & Ghosting The moving crew arrived at our residence completely empty-handed, with no packing supplies and no idea they were supposed to pack our home. This delayed the entire process.

I was overcharged for my move. I've been trying to get a response from the company for 6 weeks and have had no luck even though I have submitted all the paper work showing the overcharge. They also damaged one of my paintings and I have heard nothing about paying for the damage even though I purchased insurance.

Absolutely unacceptable experience – avoid Miracle Movers at all costs. We hired Miracle Movers for what should have been a simple 30-minute move, and it turned out to be the worst moving experience we’ve ever had — and we’ve done multiple cross-country moves (NY to CA and CA to NC) that went significantly smoother. To start, items were literally thrown into boxes without any rhyme or reason. No organization, no labeling, no care.

I hired Miracle Movers Raleigh, LLC for a short local move and paid extra for replacement/full value coverage (Full Value Protection). After delivery, I had multiple items damaged. In addition, because I was nearing a home closing, I had to pay out of pocket to address property damage before the closing could proceed. The most frustrating part has been the claims process. On 5/29/2025 I was instructed to text photos to a specific representative, but that person later left the company.

On October 13, 2025, we hired Miracle Movers of Raleigh and paid a $150 deposit to secure a move scheduled for October 15, 2025. During the move on October 15, 2025, one of Miracle Movers’ staff members was carrying two dumbbells upstairs when he tripped, fell, and struck his head. During the fall, one of the dumbbells caused a deep gouge in a stair tread. We heard the incident and went to investigate. The staff member was seated on the stairs rubbing his head and stated that he had tripped and fallen.

Two years ago, awesome, which is why I chose Miracle Movers again, hoping I could get the sme three individuals. They were awesome. One month ago, terrible. Different people, different experience, terrible experience. The movers damaged the doorway and my dresser. I sent the photos, no positive response. The GM had the audacity to ask if the photo was of my apartment. No current response. My dresser is only 4 months old. Prior to the move, absolutely no damage. I will never use this company again.

First, the team (Travis and company) that packed the house and delivered the goods were phenomenal! The original presentation by Jack was professional. Autumn who answers the phone, great! Having said that, after confirming via email and calls multiple times the delivery was 2 days late! We had free storage from the initial meeting and they kept billing 350.00; multiple calls did not fix the problem and caused the delivery delay due to non-payment of a NON BILL!

The sellers of our home used Miracle Movers. They happen to be there on our final walk through and were very polite. Unfortunately, some damages occurred while they were moving the sellers’ things. They assured us that Miracle Movers would repair the damage. It has been over 2 months now and it has been impossible just to get someone to follow through. I’ve talked to multiple people but none of them followed up with the process or reached out. Update: No one ever reached out or responded to this review.
