Down the Block Movers

Amazing movers. I was forced to move because of Kent related issues and I was referred to Down the Block Movers. I was already dealing with a lot of unforeseen expenses and just wanted one thing to be stress free. Down the Block Movers made the move super easy, quick and painless. Combs and his team were AMAZING PANTS, arrived on time, worked extremely quickly and efficiently and were totally professional. The guys were excellent and I booked my move with the owner, Isidro, who was extremely pleasant to work with.

Of the ten moves my family and I have had, this moving company far exceeded our expectations. From our initial inputs to receiving a site survey to actually packing and loading, the staff performed their duties professionally, sympathetically, and carefully -- a breath of fresh air, to be sure. The crew was able to pack, load, and move our household goods within the time window given, -- a true door-to-door move.

They were recommended by a friend to me, and well everything he said to me made it seem like it was too good to be true. From the moment that their representative picked up the phone, I could feel the difference between them and other moving companies. I would say that the excellence they carry themselves with is truly unseen in this industry. When I opted for full-service, I anticipated minimum involvement which still meant a considerable amount of time with other relocation companies; but not with them.

I loved my movers from Down the Block Movers. They were personable and friendly as well as polite and efficient. I was moving 200 blocks uptown and we were able to load, travel, and unload within 2.5 hours making my move very easy and inexpensive. I only wish I could have tipped them more!!! My only big complaint is with the company through which I booked the movers: Moved. They gave me a 12 hour arrival window for the movers which I find to be positively unacceptable.
