My trip was booked through Medal of Honor. My items were picked up the 5th amd I still dont have a delivery date. Hardware to things they dissasembled were left behind. Loaded dressers were turned vertically. Glass clanked and the truck was missing inventory discussed over the phone w/ MOH so I couldnt fit a ton of things. Over 3 grand and I will have damaged items IF it ever arrives. I couldve moved cross country in a 26' truck with everything for the same cost or less.
Hello Ricia, unfortunately you posted the review for the wrong Moving Company. We are called Ocean Moving Company and have no association with Medal of Honor whatsoever. We are based in Torrance in California and we do get mixed up with an Ocean Moving on the East Coast that does interstate moves…
The worse experience of my life with this people, they will offer u a price at the beginning which supposedly Is the total BUT !!! Be careful!! Cause they will charge u more and more and more and more later …. They will tell u everything to take their service and U will think that u don’t need to pay more BUT ! yes !!! You will!!
Hello Yamil, This review is for the wrong business. We are not the ones who provided the moving service. Unfortunately you and countless others have mistaken our company with Ocean Moving and Storage in Florida and we have absolutely no affiliation with them whatsoever.
These guys seems to be super expensive. I called them to move a dining table from Torrance robOV, which is. 10min drive and they quoted me $800+. I moved it for $150 through another mover
Hello Moe, We provided an estimate for moving a marble table ranging from $330 to $800, depending on weight and dimensions because some of them can be over 300lbs and require 4 movers.
Want to double charge for their driving time and claims it's California law, no it's not. No other mover has stated this. On top of extra 75 dollar "service fee"
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

This is not the first time I’ve used this moving company, and once again, I am beyond impressed. These guys are absolutely fantastic — true professionals who take their job seriously and go above and beyond every single time. From the moment they arrived, everything was handled with incredible care, efficiency, and attention to detail. They were punctual, polite, and very organized.
I used Ocean Moving for a short local move, going from a 2-bedroom with a ton of heavy and fragile stuff to a 1-bedroom on the second floor without an elevator. James, Roman and Tim were all super professional, friendly, timely, and were really committed to making sure I could feel comfortable in my new home. It was not an easy task and these guys worked hard and took plenty of care to ensure my items were accounted for and protected during the move.
Bernard, we appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future.
I've moved a few times in the South Bay area but I've never had such a great experience with movers until Ocean Moving Company! First I requested a quote on their website and received a response within the hour (even though it was Saturday evening!) The next morning I confirmed and talked with Roman on the phone and he was very thorough and explained everything to me, including their pricing and payment procedures.
I've had problems with movers in the past (haven't we all?), especially the huge nationwide companies. So when I had to move a relative from Huntington Beach down here to San Diego, I talked to a number of local and regional moving companies all the way up the coast, from San Diego to Los Angeles. The one that stood out was Ocean Moving, because Roman (I think he's the owner) already knew both neighborhoods (origin and destination), and spent plenty of time on the phone with me telling me about other jobs they'd…
