12 of the 30 ratings in Google’s published star breakdown for Dunkley Music Piano Moving are one or two star.
Worked out from 30 ratings. That is enough to publish but few enough that one more review moves it noticeably, so read it as a hint rather than a measurement.

Very professional in nabbing my business. Very unprofessional with a no-show and no communication as to why. If you're not on a timeline and you like surprises, this could be the piano moving company for you.
In June I contacted Dunkley Piano Movers to move my studio piano from my condo in Eden to my new senior apartment in Ogden. I told them the piano would have to come down an exterior stairway leaving the condo, but there would be an elevator at the apartment building. I was given a quote of $350 on condition they didn't have to stand the piano on end to make the stairway corner which would add $85.
AVOID AT ALL COST! Please do not use these people for moving. Dealt with Seth who illegally entered the house. He was supposed to notify us so we could be there. He was NOT authorized to enter the house. Had I had things my way he would be facing a breaking and entering charge. He damaged walls, stairwell etc while moving the organ. This will require paint work and plaster to fix everything he busted.
This company stole my piano. They picked it up and never delivered it, never called, never returned calls, and when I finally got a hold of somebody, they said they had it in storage, and that I had to pay them $1,200 in storage fees to get …
I was referred to them by a friend who said they had been very helpful and had used a ramp to move her piano. I called to see if we could rent their ramp or have them help me move an electric wheel chair down 3 stairs but before I could even ask I received "We're a piano store. We only move pianos and organs." They may be a specialty store -- but a little courtesy goes a long way -- if they couldn't help they could have referred me to someone else -- but if it isn't a piano or organ -- don't waste their time.
We apologize we weren't able to assist you. We are only insured to move pianos and our employees are only insured when moving pianos.
Did not have a choice of using Dunkley because that is who Piano Gallery uses. After experiencing the good service at the Piano Gallery and then to have the last part of the piano buying experience to be in the hands of people who don't communicate and feel like their time is more important than anyone else, is bad. Knowing what I know now we would still buy from the Piano Gallery but would pay someone else for the piano delivery.
Scheduled Dunkley to move a piano, he told me he’d be there but was going to be there pretty late. So I waited there.. he then never answered my calls or texted me back. This was Thursday evening. Still haven’t heard from him.. the next morning I got in touch with Mammoth Moving Co. Mammoth told me Saturday at 10 and they were spot on. And got the job done just like they said they would. Mammoth was great! Use them over Dunkley.
I scheduled to have my piano moved two weeks ago. I spoke with the same gentleman multiple times, enough to recognize his voice. My appointment time came today and nobody showed. I called and was told I must have scheduled with someone else …
This person did not have a piano move scheduled with us. Most likely she called and got quotes from several companies and forgot which one she booked with. Despite that, we offered to jump in our truck and run over to move it right then and asked for her address but she hung up and didn't want the…

I've used Dunkley Piano movers 4 separate times over the last 16 yrs and every time they have been easy to communicate with, clear in explaing their process and on time and fast in completing the move. …
They did a great job moving the piano and the price was just as quoted. Very friendly.
I needed my piano moved out of storage and Seth and Parker did an amazing job helping me out! Seth is so informative about pianos and piano care it was awesome learning a bit about the piano I inherited from my grandmother! The move went so smooth and they drove super careful! This is my second time using Dunkley to move my piano and I will definitely be using them for their other services as well!
Thank you so much for the review Samantha! We appreciate your business.
They moved an antique upright grand for us and they are fantastic! We live in a split level home, so it couldn't fit through the front door (which they had the knowledge to recommend the back deck beforehand). Our deck stairs had a narrow staircase and a tight turn at the top where the piano actually had to overhang the deck, but they handled it no problem.
Thank you so much for the review Skyler! We appreciate your business and glad that we could help you.
