EDIT: the business has responded and said that my review was misleading. The company is lying and I am adding proof — 1. I moved on November 27th. I reported this issue on December 11th right before traveling. Adding the email interaction in my photos below. 2. I stated that the company was kind enough to offer a refund in the review. Might want to re-read that second to last paragraph.

Tl;dr - unprofessional speed of moving, lack of moving planning strategy/skill, fills up time (cost of move) rather than finish fast (lack urgency) I had a move with Eco movers. And although everything was done okay. I find that there are a few things that has made the trip unpleasant. To provide context. I was moving from a small studio apartment to another studio apartment 3 blocks away. All my stuff were packed in boxes.

Damaged a LOT of our furniture in the move - chips to an expensive solid wood side table, broke our coffee table, damaged knobs on our display case, broke a lamp, damaged some big plants, and left broken glass on the kitchen floor that cut my foot. Instead they spent hours wrapping up plastic lids and boxes in our kitchen in paper to safely box them for the move - we noticed it as we were unpacking. We had hired them for boxing up and moving both.

Front office, schedulers were all great. The actual moving experience was poor. The crew leader initially told me they would complete the work in the estimated time, possibly earlier. However, the move went almost 2 hours over the estimate. That is because the team moved slowly, often tried to take shortcuts by not disassembling equipment, attempting to move it and fail, and then have to disassemble anyway.

Great moving experience with EcoMovers. Quick, high-quality service at a good price. Great communication on arrival times, etc. Efficient response to schedule move. Norman, Tony and Jason were fantastic to work with day-of, dissembling and reassembling furniture, keeping track of time and protecting the flooring throughout the move process.

We had never used movers before and we were so thrilled to have used Eco Movers and so we how easy they make the whole process. From scheduling at the very beginning all the way through the end, it was fantastic. Ian and his crew did an amazing job. They communicated so well with us, worked super efficiently, and took great care with all of our furniture. At the new house they put red carpets down everywhere so they didn't track dirt in the house and I was so impressed and shocked.

Using EcoMovers was incredibly easy. Scheduling was smooth and pain free. I was lucky to catch them during a slow part of the season so I was able to schedule out a week in advance. Their communication over email was prompt and detailed including a website to enter in an inventory list and contract signing. The initial booking didn’t include packing but that was noted in the estimate. I called and asked to add in extra time for packing services and they were able to accommodate my needs.
