Eco Movers Moving & Storage Kirkland

This is one of the worst moving companies I have ever used. They are LAZY movers with no direction from manager. They dented my 1500 dollar dresser and scratched my brand new floor that was just put in just because they wanted to use there dollys. Also they will give you one price upfront then give you some excuse why your bill is $700 more. Totally unprofessional moving service do not go with this company unless you want your property damaged and be overcharged for less then ideal service.

I would not recommend this company. We were initially quoted one price, which was later changed due to their own error. We spoke directly with the owner beforehand and clearly outlined our needs—moving five small items a short distance (approximately 4 miles)—and was assured everything would be handled appropriately. However, several key expectations were not met. Items that were specifically identified as valuable, including chairs that were supposed to be wrapped, were not protected as promised.

3rd Edit: The WA Utilities and Transportation Commission found that EcoMovers violated the law here. It's not feasible for me to pursue legal action from halfway across the country, so congrats EcoMovers! You get away with it. Do not do business with them. 2nd Edit: You can tell the company is lying in their recent response. The photos are from their warehouse, placed there by their movers. Their warehouse staff acknowledged the damage that same day.

Would not hire this company again. Highly recommend going with someone else or just do it yourself. We decided to go with Eco Movers because our apartment was covering most of the cost of the move. Everything was going really smoothly and they seemed like competent people up front. Against my better judgement I decided to go with the basic plan for damages thinking “how much damage could possibly happen just moving some boxes and furniture down the street”.

Going forward, I'm sad to report that I'm actively warning my large network of family and friends against using Eco Movers Moving & Storage. The morning of our large move job, they sent a much smaller crew than we had mutually agreed on in advance, putting their own (highly excellent) staff in a very tough position and creating an extremely uncomfortable and expensive situation for my family. Our move went from 8 am to 10:30 pm, even though the addresses were 5 minutes apart.

Movers broke my desk. He took photos and told me he sent them to the company and I’d be getting a claim form for the damages. Company says I can’t submit a claim and they don’t have any photos from the mover who broke the desk. I lost two days of work due to having to order and wait for a new desk plus I’m out the money. I’m not sure who is the problem here, the guy who I thought was being honest or corporate who won’t listen to me. I should have apparently taken photos myself. More than one lesson learned here.

Worst experience ever. - They promised me 3 people and sent 1.5 - one of them had an injury and could not walk as much. They initially quoted me 1300 but because they were so slow - I was charged double the amount. - Towards the end the movers just started throwing stuff in the apartment instead of properly placing it. - Additionally, One of my dresser got chipped and the walls of my apartment were ruined. POOREST MOVERS SERVICE SO FAR!!!

Was thinking of hiring these guys to move but the quote was insane, 210 an hour for large truck and 3 guys is totally do able but not a fan of a 4 hour time window when trying to move. They have a hard start time fee of 400 dollars, and if you want Insurance if they damage your items it’s an extra 600, I have to pay you 600 to replace my items if you break them? That’s crazy
