Unfortunately I have to share a negative experience with this moving company! I hired them to move a couple safes from my garage to the basement. After they finished and I went down later that night to my dismay I learned that someone had stolen 2 Microtech knives while unloading. The value of said items was approximately $650. I immediately messaged the owner, and to his credit he was immediately in communication with me and made a minor attempt to make it right.
Justin, I was looking forward to responding to this review to show others how we handle situations like these. To clarify: You were present for the entire move and inspected the premises before our crew left, so the claim that you discovered the missing items later is inaccurate.
They snapped off one of the light switches. Our landlord was going to charge is for it, so we called to see if it was covered by the movers insurance. He was reasonable on the phone, but when he came to deal with it face to face he was extremely defensive and rude out of nowhere. I was extremely shocked, especially since they were so helpful to my husband during the move.
I’m sure these guys do a good job but If you’re in Kalamazoo/Portage find someone else. They told me they could help me move at 3pm after they finished another move. I thought ok sometimes moving can run long so I figured they wouldn’t be there at 3 I call at 2:30 just to get an update, and he says they’re running late gonna be there around 5. For me this is fine it’s just me and my 67 year old dad and we can’t move all the stuff by ourselves.
Can't go below a 1 on the review.... received an estimate on job about acouple months ago, so when getting about time to the moving date tried to contact them 3 days in a row and messaged on their online page, No responce what so ever after leaving nunberous messages. If this doesn't tells you about this company , Nothing will... Good Luck with them !

I had Elite Haulerz Moving, move me twice last week. They all were professional, conscientious of my home, and me while moving me first to my new place and then returning later the next week moving the rest to storage. They brought boxes, and carefully packed what I was keeping while removing items for disposal. They were prompt, efficient, courteous, and kind. Ben was communicative assisting however needed rescheduling due to weather.
Elite Haulerz Moving did an amazing job helping my wife and I on our cross-country move from a 1-bedroom apartment in Maryland to a 2-bedroom apartment in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The owner worked to give me advice and logistics assistance with the move out of Maryland and we used UBoxes to transport our belongings to Michigan. Leading up to the move, Elite Haulerz sent me a very thorough inventory list for me to select which items I was moving that is probably the most inclusive list I have ever seen.
Elite Haulerz moved us from Michigan City to San Pierre. Amir, the owner was really helpful and kept us updated with everything. We had to attend closings in 2 different counties and weren’t able to be there for part of the move. Amir sent us pictures of the progress and made sure of what items we wanted moved. He gave us an accurate estimate and updated it as our needs changed during the move. Amir and his team, David, Harmon, and Josh, were professional and extremely efficient.
I recently had a nightmare experience with another moving company that didn’t show up on the day of my move in Berrien Springs, MI. In a total panic, I reached out to Elite Haulerz, hoping they could help me out on such short notice. To my immense relief, they came through and exceeded all my expectations. Amir and his crew arrived quickly and immediately got to work. Their expertise was clear as they efficiently assessed the situation and handled my belongings with great care.
