In their own words
This company is a scam, I negotiated a contract with them to move my stuff from Boston to San Francisco. The day of the pick up, another company called Century moving came to pick my stuff up. The guy from this company told me the assessment done by Everest was not good, initially I negotiated a contract of $2400, I ended up spending 4789 $. They charged me 10% fuel surcharge and 1250$ for extra labor that was not discussed in the first contract.
If I could give this company less stars I would. From Texas to Florida, and it’s been a month since my items have been in transit. BUYER BEWARE the girl Tatyana is rude and unprofessional, and she admitted the moving company (“allens moving …
This company is a big scam . They tell the least price and take the initial amount from you and they will give the service to some other people .. the other vendor will come and tell u it will cost u more than double . They told initially it will just cost me 1800$ for 60 packed boxes and a tv . They clearly told me that it won’t cost more than that for that 60 boxes and in fact they said I can add few more items into that and I added couple desk and chairs and mattress ..
We hired said mover (broker) designating EXACT pickup day and delivery day. Actual Moving company had us wait for them from 1pm till 8pm when they finally told us they wouldn't be there till the next morning. Our delivery date was then actually 2 weeks passed the requested date. Meanwhile, Everest would not take our calls during this 2 week waiting period.
We had agreed for a move service with 2 movers and a medium sized truck but to my surprise, one guy drove to me in a pickup truck!!! 1 guy instead of 2 guys based on agreement. I don’t know what kind of scam he tried to pull but I’d go for any of the legit movers around and there are a lot of them. Had to change my whole plan and wasted my time because of this funny business with them.
Loved the Sales rep, answered everything I needed. Call to check on my dates because I hadn't heard anything. And got a bunch ogfvague answers. Was told I would hear something 24 hours before they arrive.... WTH? Who moves and doesn't need …
The worst experience! The sales rep quoted my move, and after several conversations where I even sent him a video of the belongings, he gave me a final quote that, according to him, was not going to change. I explained to him how important …
Like all of the 1 star reviews say, it’s a scam. Awestruck at the unprofessionalism of their customer support, quality assurance, and management. Im out thousands on a deposit due to this company. Do not use them.

In their own words
I hired Everest Moving & Storage recently, guys were very professional, excellent communication, came on time, finished my move very fast. Thank you David & Anton for your wonderful hard work. Highly recommend them!!!
David and his team exceeded all expectations; I would definitely hire Everest Moving again! I moved from a 1-bedroom apartment to another 1-bedroom apartment a block away. They worked really quickly; within 2.5 hours, they packed up most of my apartment (excluding some small items that I told them I'd move myself), moved the items, and reassembled large furniture at the destination apartment.
Dudes were great! Wrapped up my furniture, loaded and unloaded everything 3 floors. Friendly, chill, and professional.
David was amazing and did an excellent job with my move from San Jose to San Diego! I had a one bedroom apartment and David moved it by himself and was very fast. He did such a great job packing and securing my things in the truck for a very long drive! When he arrived in SD, everything was unloaded and reassembled within the hour! David made the process stress free and he is so nice and very helpful! The price was reasonable and I highly recommend hiring them for your next move!
