The most unprofessional service I have ever had the misfortune of having to deal with. NEVER USE THIS SERVICE EVER! 1. They arrived 3 hours later than promised. Showed up at 7pm for a 4pm appointment. 2. They didn’t have the courtesy to inform me about the delay and kept me waiting and frantically calling them again and again for more information. 3. They WILL try to con you into paying more than the agreed time period- insisting that the job will take them double the time they promise in the beginning. 4.
We had the very worst experience with Joy Moving. They are the most unprofessional service provider I have ever dealt with it. I had booked their service a week in advance and had repeatedly confirmed the appointment with Helen. When the move day arrived, I kept calling them to inquire when the crew will arrive. They kept on delaying. They didn't even have to courtesy to call back and I had to repeatedly call them on my own. The crew was supposed to come at 5 PM. But eventually they came at 7:45 PM.
Hired this company in November 2025 , the move itself went smoothly , till I discovered that all my jewellery were stolen. They were located in a drawer, which luckily I remembered who was the person packing and moving. I reported it to the company, zero action was taken. Dishonest crew ;(
They promise anything to get your business, once money is paid, nothing gets done. I used them for long distance shipping, they guaranteed everything. As soon as all my packages were shipped, they told me that they had issues reaching the destination, they eventually dropped my stuff in some other place and gave me a phone number to call to solve the problem by my own. When I complained, they said "we tried out best to help you!" I ended up spending a lot more to get my stuff to the final destination.
We had 3 movers and 2 of them were most idling towards the end. We felt they were just dragging on time to get paid. They charge 2hr minimum and they will charge you for half an hour (that's $80) even if the time over is only 10 minutes. Oh and they ask for extra tips on the "extra" half an hour too.
Confirmed to schedule a moving on Saturday afternoon. I planed everything around this schedule. But in the middle of the week, that I was told they are not available at that time. I was super mad since all other plans need to be changed. …

We cannot say enough good things about Joy Moving Service Company. This move was absolutely crazy for us, we were juggling a million things and honestly did not get a chance to pack much ahead of time. From the moment they arrived, Ciro, Peter, and Saul completely took the stress off our shoulders. These three worked tirelessly, packed our entire home incredibly fast, and did it with so much care and efficiency. Not a single thing was damaged, which still blows my mind given how much there was to move.

Thanks to Robert and Aldo, we had a very smooth moving experience this time. They arrived on time, were highly efficient, wrapped our furniture carefully, and helped box the monitors and TVs. At the destination, they placed everything exactly where we want it to be. I would highly recommend both of them if you’re looking for a smooth moving experience!
