This was one of the worst move experiences I've had from start to finish. For context I hired Mountain Moves to move and carry (7) pieces of furniture over a .2 mile distance. And this was my experience, 1. During final inspection the foreman was argumentative and combative, yelling at my wife while she was trying to explain to him the situation that they damaged the table. They even tried to gaslight us into thinking the damage was existing on a brand new table. 2.

Show more 2,004 / 5,000 I provided this company with work less than two years ago. I was supposed to receive 30 percent of the cost. Unfortunately, I have not received the money to this day. Although I spoke with the owner of the business whom I have known for a long time. Fortunately, I was at this job that day and saw, poor work, wasting time and lack of seriousness of the employees. The conflict with the owner of the house is not related to the power that I was supposed to receive.

Because we were moving about five hours away, Joseph the company representative said that they would pick up the furniture one day and the movers would stay overnight and deliver the furniture the next day. They would come between 8-10 for the pick up and 8-10 for drop off. The movers started loading the furniture very well and they were on time but when it came to delivering the furniture, the movers did not show up until 3:30 pm.

Avoid Mountain Movers I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves it. The three movers were kind and friendly, but only one seemed experienced. The other two clearly weren’t, which made the job drag on far longer than necessary. We were simply moving items from a storage unit into an apartment—no disassembly required. Our previous move with OnTrack Moving, which involved wrapping and taking apart furniture, took only 4 hours.

Use Service At Your Own Risk: Worse movers ever: 1) Quality of Service: Scratched Hardwood Floor, punched wholes in the walls and did not reimburse for damage 2) Timely: Late arrival to the site - 2 hrs late. 3) Commitment to Word: Promise 6 people and only 5 people showed up 4) On Time Completion: because #2 and #3, needed another day move when I needed the place cleared out for repair team to start work 5) Accusing of Scope Creep: Blamed me for adding furniture to my house and work was bigger than they sized…

They are very slow and my moving took almost 13 hours, which usually takes maximum 8 hours. I recommended to take off fridge door because it doesn't fit through doors(we took it off with last move). but they didn't listen and ended up taking off my door, front door and tried to take off my new home door too. I had to be involved and angry at them because my fridge is fitting to my new home door but they are thinking it is not fitting. my new home door was 7 inches bigger than my fridge.

We booked 1-6PM for a move and got a call at 1PM that they wouldn’t be arriving until 5pm. Regardless of the 2 hour start window they conveniently let us know they would be 3 hours behind their two hour start window. We had to reserve loading docks and service elevators at our current residence and residence that they were moving to. We explicitly told them that we had to reserve these areas and that the apartments were very particular about the times that we had reserved.

By far the best moving experience I’ve ever had with movers. They were quick, efficient, and careful. No up charges for equipment and whatnot and they stayed within the minimum time frame and got everything done. My estimate was exactly what I paid.
