Ez As Pie Moving

Initially I left a 5 star review because the movers showed up, and while they under quoted and under staffed my move, the guys worked diligently and hard to get our move complete. Our initial quote was completed after a walk through on the phone of what we had to move, and they even agreed to move our play set for our kids. When the guys showed up they said they did not realize how much stuff we had and the rate almost tripled. At this point we had no choice but to proceed.

Would never use this company again. We’ve moved MANY times and have used plenty of moving companies, and we have never paid so much for such terrible work. We hired them to move half of our belongings into storage and the other half into an apartment. They broke two pieces of brand-new furniture during the initial move — which they did come back and fix — but unfortunately that was only the beginning.

The movers are very polite and respectful, and they take an exorbitant amount of time carefully wrapping all your furniture in moving blankets. I feel like almost an hour was spent wrapping our furniture in moving blankets, even items we had already Saran wrapped ourselves. As a result, the cost of our moving was DOUBLE the price that I was quoted for the move. This was shocking for me considering that I had sold a considerable amount of our furniture since receiving the quote.

Completely unprofessional. Called for an estimate on Tuesday, told Amber i needed to discuss it with my husband. We agreed to her calling me back around 10am Wednesday. She did not reach out at all on Wednesday. However Thursday while i am at work her and her manager start repeatedly calling me from different numbers to the point that i had to step away from clients. At this point i told them their behavior was completely unacceptable, i would not be hiring them, and to stop contacting me.

I used this company to move furniture from apartment to storage unit and a house. Movers were friendly in beginning but acted different once we got to the storage unit. Assuming this was because they broke my bar cart (truck gate slammed down on it and bent all wheels beyond repair), and then rather than waiting for the other guy to help move the couch, one mover tried to do it himself. He dropped it on lift gate and caused a rip/whole in the back of couch, plus scuffs all along back of leather and wood base.

I will never use this moving company again! They damaged a nice leather coach by letting it fall on the lift gate, damaged a piece of furniture they intentionally dropped from the lift gate and then lowered the gate onto, and I had to tell them to be careful when moving some boxes into the storage unit because they were being so careless.

I really, really liked this company, the idea, the brand, the movers, the theme, and ... the pie! BUT ... after a year of having my stuff in storage, I finally realized that a few of my things were broken and was really disappointed by this. Obviously, the movers were not careful with the handling of certain boxes. I don't know how hard it is to be gentle with packages, to be honest. Unfortunately, I must give a low star rating at this time.

My mother had a financial altercation with one of the movers. When I tried to voice my concern to management, I called multiple times, but the manager was either unavailable or ‘in a meeting.’ While the financial issue was eventually resolved, the altercation itself was dismissed. I was left feeling like my concern regarding this specific mover wasn’t taken seriously or treated as a priority.
