The rating breakdown
0 of the 20 ratings in Google’s published star breakdown for Fairprice Movers Oakland Local & Long Distance Moving Company are one or two star.
Worked out from 20 ratings. That is enough to publish but few enough that one more review moves it noticeably, so read it as a hint rather than a measurement.

The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
For a first apartment on a tight budget, I could not have asked for a better fit. Fairprice quoted me a fair rate with nothing hidden, then moved my small load near Lake Merritt quickly and without a single upsell. Friendly, affordable, and completely painless.
I brew beer at home and have a garage full of carboys, kegs, and glass equipment that I was genuinely afraid to move. I laid it all out when I booked, and the crew came with the right padding, packed the fragile gear so it couldn't rattle around, and got every last bottle across town unbroken. For a setup that delicate, I couldn't have hoped for better.
My realtor recommended them after watching them handle a client's move, and now I understand why she keeps passing their name along. The team was punctual, tidy, and respectful of the property near Temescal from start to finish. A recommendation I will happily repeat to anyone.
The move went smoothly, but what I keep telling people about is how they handled a screwup that was entirely mine. I'd blocked off the wrong day with my building's front desk, so when we arrived the loading dock was locked and the manager was nowhere to be found. The crew didn't grumble or start the meter running while I panicked on the phone. They calmly helped me find another entrance, adjusted their plan, and got everything in without charging me for the scramble I'd caused.
What Google’s own summary highlights
Google surfaces topics it finds across a business’s reviews. They skew positive across every mover we hold, so treat them as a summary of what this company is praised for rather than a balanced picture.
