In their own words
I am very disappointed in my experience with Sweet Lemon Movers. While scheduling was easy and movers were kind and fast, they did not resolve damage that was made to our home during the moving process. I understand that damages can happen; however, they did not offer any adequate solution. I notified sweet lemon the day after our move with photos of the damage incurred. They asked if a handyman could stop by, and the answer was no because I left the property/no longer have access.
Don’t recommend- extremely disappointed with this moving company. Very slow- took over 2 hours more than prior moves. Took an entire day (6 hours) to move a 2 bedroom apartment with elevator with only kitchen packing. Forgot to pack multiple drawers in kitchen. I’ve moved 4 times before with the exact same furniture, more stairs and packing if entire apartment which never took more than 4 hrs. Ended up overpaying significantly.
They use an international call-center to manage phone calls.....not sure if this is new for them, but not a local business...
"Hi There, Actually we are a local company-our sales team is based in Alameda, California & Arizona. We are not sure where that impression came from, but the information in the review isn't accurate.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
We got estimates from four different companies for our local Bay Area move. Sweet Lemon was the best price, had the most thorough estimate process, and was very responsive to follow-up questions. They also offered us a lot of flexibility because we had some large pieces we weren't sure if we were taking with us or not--and they offered a great pricing structure that gave us time to sort out some of these decisions.
Thank you!
Marco and his crew really made our move as smooth as possible! Our move had two pick-up points at my place and then my boyfriend's, and then the final destination. They handled it no problem. They arrived exactly on time. They were professional and moved very fast. I also asked them to move my sisters furniture into the room I vacated and they were able to do it pretty quickly.
Thank you!
I'm really impressed with our moving team, Guillerme, Carlos, and Rolando. They were friendly and got to work immediately. They were fast, efficient, and carefully paid attention to our fragile boxes, taping lose plastic stacking container drawers, and shrink wrapping our sofa frame and cushions individually to reduce possibility of damage or dirt. They also took great care moving our 75 inch and 32 inch TVs securing each with blankets and shrink wrapping.
Thank you!
UPDATE: We have used Sweet Lemon Moving for a total of 3 moves. We are extraordinarily pleased with every single member of the crew. They delivered our furniture in record time, in great condition and all with kind hearts. We will continue to recommend them every chance we get. I am very pleased with the entire crew from Sweet Lemon Moving Services; from my initial inquiries and dealings with Jim and Farzi, to the team that showed up to move us. Jim and Farzi were responsive, professional and courteous.
Thank you!
