I’m highly disappointed and would not recommend this company. I spoke with someone and scheduled an appointment for a move. When the day came they never showed up or gave me a call to follow up. I’ve been calling for nine days now and no answer. I’ve left multiple messages; no response. Luckily I was able to find another company to assist with my move that I had to reschedule. Terrible Experience Unprofessional Service! I had an extremely bad experience with Famous Movers. They broke my TV during the move, and when I confronted them their staff was extremely rude and disrespectful instead of taking responsibility. Do not use Famous Movers. I hired them to move a 9-ft white Restoration Hardware sofa from West Hollywood to my new apartment. The sofa was already waiting in the garage — this should have been a straightforward pickup and delivery. Two movers arrived in a large yellow truck. Once we got to my apartment, one of the movers spent about 30 minutes insisting that the sofa was “too big” to fit up one flight of stairs and repeatedly told me it was impossible. He then pressured me to pay an additional $100 on the spot.

Horrible experience upon the contract states the time would start upon greeting the customer but then was changed to when they arrived whether I was there or not. I received a message at 8:40am stating the movers would be there at 9am when I was advised i would get notified 1 hr notice. The movers where taking there time to get more hours in then I advised them whatever wasn’t done at 12 was fine cause I didn’t want to pay for additional hours. So the movers were done at 12 and advised the company.

I moved in October and used famous movers. They honored the Groupon price. From a 3 bedroom to a three bedroom only moved beds. They broke one tv, I have a white couch that they had no regard for and now has black stains all over it. They worked so slow and did not have proper tools. This took six hours!!! This was the worst experience, never again! I felt robbed!
The worst place ever. Almost didn’t show. When they did. Had NOTHING. NO DOLLY. NO WRAP. TOOK LONG BREAKS THEN CHARGED FOR IT. The “owner” is drunk apparently a 3 bedroom is too much. Alex says he the owner. SMH. IVE MOVED 4 times. And I’ll never use this sad excuse for a business again Don’t use Groupon. They triple charge if you do.

Great customer service and quick movers! Bryan the dispatcher was able to get me movers on the last minute and was so nice! My movers Kenya and Mike were on time, quick, efficient, and very nice. I would definitely recommend them!!
