Wes, the person you sent to my home to move me was very disrespectful. From the moment he arrived he looked for reasons not to move certain things. He did not assist the other movers at all, the other movers asked him was he going to help. I made several calls to Eric, the manager due to Wes refusing to move items. I also found out that some of the movers are ex prisoners. It would have been nice to know that before hand just for safety reasons.
This customer had us give her a flat rate price based on her items shown on her Zillow listing.. we specifically priced her to move each individual item we could see and made her aware the price was just for those items.. when we arrived to … More
I hired 3 movers but only 2 showed up. They told me they were reducing my rate since there were only 2 men to complete the job. These men had just returned from an out of state move and were tired. Boxes marked Fragile were thrown around. They moved at a snails pace and items were damaged. Pay a little extra and work with a company who will show up with the correct number of movers and care about your belongings. Update: The total for this move topped $800!!!
I would not recommend Fox Moving Company based on my experience. My move was extremely stressful from start to finish. Several of my belongings were damaged, one of the movers was very disrespectful, and I was ultimately overcharged for services that were either incomplete or not performed properly. Moving is already exhausting, and instead of helping reduce the stress, the experience made things significantly harder. Communication and professionalism were very disappointing overall.
Writing this with pure disappointment as the movers were kind to my mom. The company incorrectly installed our fridge during the move and the waterline leaked. After calling a plumber he discovered the issue but the leak soaked into the floorboards and warped and ruined the floor. I’ve been calling to speak to the owner but no one has been answering. We have to replace the entire floor as the home is new to us and we are unable to match the existing.
The movers came in and immediately started talking about tips. They were friendly enough but when they put my furniture in storage it was haphazard what a mess they made. I would never ever recommend this moving company and if you need to move DO NOT USE THEM
