I have used this company 3 times trying to support a black business and every time there has been an issue. This time they were 2 hours late, last time they were about 5 hours late. I kept asking and didn't receive an ETA, so I could extend my truck rental which was more money. when they arrived, instead of using equipment, they decided to carry everything which made the process longer.

Complete Scammers. Avoid this company. They disappeared for 3 hours with my property while still on the clock and demanded Cash during the move 6 different times. Threatened to leave with my property if I didn’t pay. Completely over charged me 1000 dollars. Avoid Avoid Avoid these scammers and thieves.

I had a very disappointing experience with Star Moving Services. First, the movers arrived 5 hours late, which significantly disrupted my schedule. Second, the final amount I was charged was much higher than the price I was initially quoted. I was told the move would be billed hourly, but just before unloading the truck, Milton began demanding payment and added several unexpected charges, including additional time charges and a service fee that had never been clearly disclosed.

Scam or very shady business ( Believe the Yelp reviews ) I get a call because I was looking for movers. And I am quoted 85/ hr. I let it be known that I have 1 Bedroom in storage and a dining room table that I need moved. The owner says that it would be an easy move, and I may not need the whole 3 hours if it's really only 1 bedroom ( keep this detail in mind). Before scheduling I asked why his Yelp reviews were so low he said "Unreasonable customers." We scheduled a time of 10:30 am.

Was quoted a price of 2 men @ $85 an hour. They send an additional man so rate changed to $120 an hour with no prior consent from me nor approval for additional help. Work still took 6-7 hours with 3 men for an 2 bed 2 bath NO major appliances to move, and 95 % of things to be taken were already packed. I had to pay an outlandish price of $940 total because they are inefficient. Then whoever Milton is was extremely rude and unprofessional.

Run from this moving company it’s a SCAM The owner Milton Blakey will quote you one price for a move, get your furniture loaded on the truck the crew will disappear for hours with your belongings while the owner demands more money for delivery. I had to pay an additional $1000 for my items to be delivered and was told this 15 min before my furniture was expected at my new address.

I had an absolutely terrible experience with Star Moving Services. The price I was quoted and the final amount I was charged were nowhere close. I was told they charge by the hour, but after the move was finished, they added several unexpected fees — including a high-rise charge, extra time, and a service fee that was never clearly explained. In the end, my total was nearly $400 more than what I was originally expecting. It honestly felt like a bait-and-switch.

I do not recommend this company. I had a 2-bedroom apartment that took the whole day to move. To see someone sitting down on their phone and I'm paying for their time was totally unacceptable. I've never had broken items in a move before. I was very disappointed with this company.
