In their own words
Not sure where to start. Originally scheduled the move for a Thursday. Closing dates got changed I called and rescheduled for Friday and they said they have availability. Wednesday night I got a message confirming Thursday. I called back and when I explained the situation I was told he makes 100 calls a day and got the days mixed up that I was set for Friday. Thursday morning the team calls on the way to my house which I was not there. I explained the situation to them and they weren't happy.
Don't trust these clowns with your valuables! If I could leave ZERO STARS, I would! I had an agreement in writing with Fox's Adam Fletcher that they could transport my Coke vending machine upright, because to lay it on its side would damage it. Of course, I was told it would be transported upright, but that didn't happen. One of the most unprofessional drivers ever showed up with my now-ruined Coke machine laying on its side and all the coolant has gone to places it shouldn't. See the photos attached.
Originally scheduled 3 movers, but only 2 showed up. Only 1 mover was actually doing any work as the other was constantly on his phone talking. Consequently, the move took way too long that I had to cancel other appointments and commitments that I had. I have moved previously with a similar number of items and location types and the move was almost half the time. The movers also damaged quite a bit of furniture that I had and left marks/damage to the walls. I would never recommend Fox Moving & Storage to anyone!
This wasn‘t what I expected when I hired Fox Moving. Not only did they damage the street in front of my house, but they charged me for the two hours their men spent trying to get the truck unstuck AND the 1/2 hour lunch break they said they wouldn’t charge for when I bought the movers lunch. When I contacted Frank about it, he said he wanted to make it right and would call me back by the next day. Never heard from him again. Very dishonest.
Be aware of this fraud moving company! They will add the drive time after the initial quote which they will not mention when you book the moving service. They claim to offer insurance on their website but will not honor the claim even after …
I used this company to move my belongings on December 31, 2024. The move went okay although it was clear that the movers didn't want to be there since it was NYE. Regardless, I tipped them well anyway. They ended up breaking my standing …

This review is filled with incorrect information -we did not show up late -this was not an hourly rate job, it was a flat rate ahead of time, and they were moving items carefully not slowly because they were “milking the clock” -this person leaving a review is not our customer, the apartment…

Stephen and Pop were incredibly efficient and professional while moving our home items and furniture! We had the pleasure of working with Fox Moving and Storage to move us from Charlotte to the Asheville/Black Mountain area. From start to finish, the crew (Trayvon, DJ, Manuel "Man", Tony and Montreal), led by Steven were courteous, professional, and moved with amazing speed and care.
