In their own words
Did not have straps on their dollies for heavy items. Did not have tools to take apart furniture. Dropped my furniture, damaged it, and stole an insulated bag of 12-14 bottles of liquor in it. One mover had hickeys all over his neck and was disgusting to see.
The movers were nice and all, but ended up breaking a lot of my things, including my dryer costing me $140. Gabe said he would pay half. Called him twice & he never paid.
Don't trust them. I thought they did a good job until I realized I had pieces of jewelry missing. I had a small box on top of my dresser with all my jewelry packed in little boxes/sachets. I had that box open and totally forgot I had not closed it. The movers showed up early and started in our bedroom. 10 minutes into the job I remember I had the box still in my bedroom. I immediately grabbed it, closed it and that box was with me the entire move.
I originally used Gabe and Sons last year to unload a truck after a multi-state move and they did a great job, so when it came time to move again I called them to load our trucks for us to make another similar move. They sent a crew of 5 people to help us pack and they did a good job with that, but on moving day they only sent 2 guys to load 2 trucks and it took them over 8 hours to load.

In their own words
Trace and Isaac were as good as it gets. Very careful, efficient, professional. Patient, great attitudes. They made this as stress free as. possible. Great value too. I'm definitely hiring Gabe and Sons Moving again and highly recommend them.
I moved from Corpus Christi to Austin using Gabe and Sons. I strongly, strongly recommend them! I’ve done so many moves coast to coast, international, and across few states and they were on par or better than all I’ve used in the past. Below are several reasons why I recommend them when I moved from my 4bd house in Corpus to another 4bd house in Austin: - Venny, Oscar, and Gilbert came right on time as agreed - Moved all items carefully and stacked boxes like tetris (so we even had room left over in the truck)…
Here's the difference that Gabe and Sons has over most other companies in corpus: THEY CARE. THEY CARE. THEY CARE. Genuinely sometimes moving is hard and there could be genuinely stressful things going on while moving and they get that. Not only do they get that they keep that in mind while they move you, moving SO FAST and CAREFULLY no matter what. I've used their service twice now. Communication was always there, if they were running late or if they had an earlier slot available, they let me know.
My husband and I have moved quite a few times over the past two years. When we starting looking for a moving company to move us from Corpus Christi to Aransas Pass, we did our research. We decided to use Gabe and Sons Moving Company after recommendations from friends and from Google reviews. First, we had to change our move date three different times, twice due to our new place not being ready, and one due to severe weather.
