I bought a plate and a ashtrays from a cargo ship that sank years ago at a nautical antique store and had it shipped to me and was told it would be properly packaged it arrived broken and I paid for insurance. When I opened the box it was not bubble wrapped like I was told and the heavy ashtray was placed on top so the weight of the ashtrays and no bubble wrap broke the plate.
I'm truly sorry for the damage that occurred Mrs. Huntington. I know the settlement doesn't replace the items, but I hope it helped some. I've made this a learning experience for myself and staff.
I had a terrible experience with some clueless guy named Abraham. I shipped a package with this company for the first time and paid for overnight shipping, which was close to $80, when 2-day would have been $20-something. My package was delivered two days later due to FedEx’s no-money-back guarantee because of weather. I simply called to express my experience and explain that their worker, who clearly knew this policy, could have informed me of it before taking my money.

Went to Galveston Pack & Ship to have an application for a copy of my daughter's brith certificate notarized. Despite advertising that they offer notary services and the guy behind the counter confirming they he is able to notarize documents, he refused to do it saying that he didn't have to give a reason why. Very unprofessional. Ended up going to Galveston Mail Room on 61st St who were more than happy to do it. If you want notary services, I'd suggest avoiding Galveston Pack & Ship!
You are 100% right. You should have been informed why the Notary did not feel comfortable providing the service. I spoke with the employee and did not receive a satisfactory answer either. He is no longer with the company. We would love to get a second chance, but if not I understand. Take care.
I was charged for a “package service” for a used Amazon bag and tape. Although my label was pre paid by Fed ex they explained they had no free bags from Fed Ex. I use to work for a private post office and we always had bags provided by FedEx that were given to the customer at no charge.
Unfortunately, to be able to stay in business we must charge a small fee for services rendered. FedEx Express provides limited free supplies but they do not provide them for Ground or Home. I apologize for not being able to explain this fully at the time of the transaction.

Outstanding service and creativity at Galveston Pack and Ship at 527 Moody (21st) Street . Over two consecutive days, required spacially intelligence as well an ability to conceive of materials available in the shop. Dylan is a gifted young man who exemplifies these talents. He packaged an heirloom fly fishing rod and handmade flies. His patience and ability to conduct customer service was professionalism at its finest.

Abe was super helpful. We had some souvenirs to mail home after our cruise. He helped us mail our gifts as well as find a box that would fit some clothes to make our backpacks lighter. Price was very reasonable. Thanks again to Abe for helping us out so our day spent in Houston was more enjoyable with less clothes to carry around!
