BUYER BEWARE: DO NOT USE GASPERSON MOVING AND STORAGE. I am an interior designer working nationwide and hired Gasperson as the receiver for inspection, receiving and delivery of $100,000 worth of furnishings for a project in North Carolina. Gasperson lost or mishandled more than $7000 worth of furnishings. The Operations Manager, Audra Cross Childers, is extremely rude and unprofessional and will not respond to emails nor will she give me the name of her direct report.

We moved 8 months ago and chose Gasperson Moving Company to pack and move our belongings. We would never use this company again nor would we ever tip the packers and moving employees again until all furniture is thoroughly inspected after the delivery. Then, and only then, would we tip and it would be based on the quality of work done. The employees would understand up front that we would be sending their tip to the office after we have inspected all the furniture, etc that they handle.
Gasperson Movers were grossly negligent and carelessly mishandled a piece of equipment that was hand built, dropping it complete off the raised lift of the truck, a height about 5 feet. They took it back to their shop and pounded and bent the metal back so that the screws would just barely fit and brought it back to me totally non operational. They then refused to honor the basic insurance of 60 cent per pound unless I provided a complete schematic and brochure of the equipment which was about 7 years old.
Audra and Admin are not familiar with customer service and are very rude! She forgets she is in Weaverville not Hollywood Ca. They managed to get gasoline smell all over our bedding box springs etc, we had to throw out a entire bed system, nothing phased Miss. Audra, she even ordered the movers to drive away with our things after we stated it was unfair that she was going to charge us for goods we already moved ahead of time, as well as gas smell on our things, and the movers drove away by punching the accelerator…

We had an excellent experience with this moving team. Jose, Fernando, Alex, and Brandon handled the loading, and Cody and William handled the unloading. Everyone was punctual, hardworking, professional, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. The loading crew did an incredible job fitting everything into the truck—I honestly didn’t think it would all fit, but they made it happen! Both crews were careful with our furniture and belongings and made a stressful moving day feel much more manageable.

Cody and William unloaded everything today into my storage unit in Pensacola, Florida and they did an amazing job. It only took them less than 4 hours. They were very meticulous to make sure none of my things got damaged. They were super thoughtful on where they stacked things. I would highly recommend Gaspersons and Cody and William. In addition when Gaspersons loaded my things up last week that crew did a great job as well. Gerardo worked very hard to make sure everything would fit on the 26 foot truck.
