In their own words
This company was very unprofessional. They broke snow globes that I collect and 3doors on the cabinet that the globes were in and the top of a shelf by setting something to heavy on top of it. They also didn't label the boxes so we had no clue what was in them. Our home insurance chose them and we had to fire them and the insurance had to bring in another company to finish the work.
We have mixed feelings about our move with Glaser and Sons Moving. The quotation process and move planning was fine. Chris did the estimate and Nichole coordinated. Chris estimated 8-10 hours for our move. The original plan was to do the entire move in one day. This plan was changed , to load at the old house one day and deliver at the new house the following day. Our move was only 9 miles. Instead of 8-10 hours , it took 17. This made the actual cost 50% higher than the high end of the estimate.
Jewelry stolen. Lost hardware to my bed. Had to complain to get another bed assembled, left if in pieces. Numerous boxes placed in the wrong rooms. Of course, the main issue us was the stolen property. Box was not labeled “jewelry” but labeled for my bedroom. *** ?Glaser and Sons claims they were not notified until 6 moths later. That is absolutely false. I made several calls regarding the jewelry. I told them within 2 days of fixing the bed.
This issue was brought to us 6 months after this move was completed. The bed issue was reconciled immediately after it was brought to our attention which was the day after the move in October 2020. There was no jewelry packed nor was there any jewelry stolen from this move.
These people are phoney and a bunch of frauds! Not only did I pre-paid my rental but I filled their tank up more than the amount I used and they turned around and charged my account more than what was authorized from me. I will not use this company ever again and don't recommend anyone to use this trailer-trash company! Run from these people! Don't walk Run!
Hello Mrs Robinson. U-Haul would be the company to complain to. It was told to you before you rented that each mile you drive is $.99. You did prepay for your 35 miles however you drove 75. Plus the cost of the truck. Plus Tax. You signed the contract stating you understood this.
I do not recommend this company of course you had to do at least 1 star to leave a review but if i could id leave no stars as they don't deserve it..... No Nikki i am not a customer i was an employee who you guys paid under the table and who was assaulted

I needed a two bedroom condo cleared out prior to a sale and it was a last minute request. Nicole was amazing at fitting me in on such short notice and scheduled a time for me that worked for my schedule. She could not have been easier to work with at the initial phases. The reservation even included using their truck which was really convenient. On moving day, she kept me updated on when the guys would arrive and they even arrived about 2 hours early which we greatly appreciated.

We used Glaser & Sons to move from our rental house into the home we were purchasing (about 2 years ago), and they were efficient, careful, and a great price. We liked them so much we hired them to move a large entertainment unit we purchased last summer (about 1 year ago), with the same great service. My parents happened to be visiting when they were moving our entertainment unit, and were so impressed they are going to use them when they move to the area this summer. I cannot recommend them enough.
Glaser and Sons is a family owned and operating moving company that treated me like family. Regardless of who I dealt with, I was treated as if I was their only customer. Tonya (the Mom) and Nichole (the daughter) handle the office with ultimate customer knowledge and couldn't be friendlier. The sons (Chris, who handled the quote and JR who was on the move team) were wonderful and awfully proud of what they were doing.
I highly recommend Glaser and Sons Mooving! They have a UHaul office located right next store, so I hired them for moving help since they cannot do out of state moves. They arrived on time, even were able to bring the UHaul truck to my home for me (after checking out w UHaul over the phone), and got right to work. The truck was packed expertly, safely, and everything was exactly where they left it when I got to my destination! They were very friendly, helpful, and efficient! They are even pet friendly!
