In their own words
The worst moving company, they charge more than you expected and they don't respect the quotation that you have at the beginning, all the furniture came broken some boxes open and damaged, some stuff missing(luggage......),tv broken..... a lot of stuff damaged, delay of the delivery ....and I did not mention all the bad experiences that I had with this company. All I can say run from this company, I'm so upset and feel scammed.

Police called!!!!!!! The movers weren’t the company I was told would arrive. The moving company that showed up also wanted a new contract and added expenses. Goldengate took no responsibility other than wanting the money. Even though I gave a detailed list the customer service said they weren’t experts and I should know the space required on the truck. Whaaaat, yeah. The movers told several lies about the shipping/truck. Delivery wouldn’t be as promised.

I hired this moving company for my relocation from California to Texas. Unfortunately, my desktop was left behind during the move. Despite sending continuous emails over the past six months, I haven't received any response from them. Their lack of responsibility is disappointing, and I wouldn't personally recommend this moving company.

My 13 boxes plus a couple other items (bike and vacuum) were picked up on may 15th in CA. They weren’t delivered until June 10th. Luckily it was a small load so easy to know what was or wasn’t mine because a box and a duffle bag were …

They tailgated me, flipped me off and the driver took a video of us in retaliation of my pic of his license plate. He was driving!!! I was a passenger! I had my baby in the car, he could have hurt us. For what, his ego??

In their own words
I was in need of a moving company to move a 95 year old baby grand piano. I reached out to Golden Gate Moving via their website and they responded quickly. We communicated via email and scheduled a date and went over pricing. They provided insurance for an additional fee, which I felt was reasonable and I purchased. They gave their time frame a few days before the actual move date. They arrived on time within the time frame with a few people and the move went smooth.
I had an urgent job right moving a grand piano before Thanksgiving. Fortunately I found Golden Gate moving. Their crew showed up on time, wrapped the piano properly, took off the legs and moved the piano down 5 steps of stairs. All handled skillfully. My piano was in good hands and I am very thankful! Good job Golden Gate Moving! I will definitely use your service again.
Thank you, Nicole! Please reach out with any future moving needs!
I can’t recommend Golden Gate Moving enough. I had a big couch that wouldn't fit down the stairs, and they managed to hoist it out of a 3rd-story window and into my garage with total precision. They made a high-stakes job look easy and handled my furniture with incredible care. Professional, efficient, and genuinely nice guys—worth every penny!
I needed to get a couch hoisted up three stories through my balcony and Golden Gate Moving completed the task perfectly! It was difficult to find a service that even offered hoisting to begin with but Golden Gate came through, and at a fair …
Thank you Angela, it was a pleasure working with you!
