We booked them a month in advance. We confirmed the week and the day before, yet they cancelled through a text message one and a half hour before saying their truck broke down and apparently none of their trucks were available. I think what was more stressful is that They also would not pick up their phones or reply to our texts back. At least they could suggest a plan for us. But they didn’t bother to return any calls. SAVE yourself from this terrible terrible company. I wish I could give them Zero!

Summary: The movers will give you lower per hour quote, but they'll take way long to move (because they'll spend half the time smoking) which will add to their bill and you'll end up paying them more in total than you'll pay any other mover who can probably do the work in lesser hours and not leave you exhausted and frustrated. Detailed Version: We gave the mover list of all the items that needed to be moved and he gave us a competitively lesser price quote. But on the day of the move we found out their strategy.

I would strongly caution anyone considering this company. I had a confirmed moving date, only to be told last minute that they were not coming. No advance notice, no contingency plan, and no accountability. Because of this, I was forced to scramble to secure emergency movers on the same day — something no customer should have to deal with. A moving company’s primary responsibility is to show up when promised. Unfortunately, that did not happen here.

We used GTA north York movers for moving. Kumar clearly provided all information when we contacted him for the quote and once confirmed he came with his crew promptly. They carefully moved our stuff. Pricing was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to contact Kumar again in future.
