HD Auston Moving Systems - Greenville SC Movers

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! I have moved several times in my life and this was by far the worse experience I have ever had. Numerous items were damaged including an antique dining room table and china cabinet. Also damaged was a brand new Weber grille, a Craftsman air compressor, a stainless steel refrigerator, several plates, and a couple of stereo speakers. We attempted to contact Mr. Auston but spoke with who I believe to be his receptionist or maybe a family member. She was short and rude!

This company doesn't even deserve one star. After our move and storage time with this company, they delivered our belongings, many of which were damaged beyond repair as well as several missing large items , family antiques and also overcharged us a month of storage fees. With many months of the owner promising to make things right, they did not. We were forced to proceed in to Arbitration which we were awarded a substantial refund, the company has still yet to pay.

We used a high-end "small loads" company to move a family heirloom dining room set and china cabinet from Greenville across the country, and that company set us up with HD Auston for the local packing. The guys who came out to the house did very minimal wrapping/packing as they took the items and told us they would do a full protection packing job in the warehouse before loading the items into a crate.

Updated Post: Items were stolen during my move and we did not realize it until much later (that without a doubt happened during the move- have digital proof). When I brought this to ownership's attention, they did an "internal investigation" and found no wrong-doing. All of those employees still work there. I really enjoyed our experience, but having thieves within your mix is bad for business. Because of that, I would never recommend this company.

Horrible! They left an expensive computer on their truck unprotected for 2 days. It does not work-I reported that it was missing and they returned it broken! Dishes are broken due to poor packing, and precious heirlooms are broken. 3 lamps were broken. Scratches on my original wood floors, damaged, the front porch because they backed into it! Very unprofessional! I fear for my life because I am giving them bad reviews and have reported them to the BBB. They know where I live!

This company stole from me. I had a five gallon water jug I’ve been collecting change in for over a decade. It was somewhere in the range if $400 to $500 dollars in change. I was going to use this money to go on a trip one day. Wen I called the owner to confront him he insinuated that I was lying by telling me I need to file a police report for the “alleged” theft. Please help me in spreading the word.

Do not use this company! My daughter's furniture was ruined as well as my walls in my new home. When asked how they was going to fix it, they suggested I send my dresser with them to be fixed by someone they knew. I declined and asked if this person could come to the house to do the repair. They also said they would send someone out to fix my walls. This could have easily been taken care of by compensating for the damage or taking money off the price. I have not heard from them since the 31st.

Hardy is a nice man. However my property was loaded obviously with a blatant disregard for damage. My stuff moved from Greer SC to Fairmont WV. Not quite 500 miles. I was traveling behind the truck by a day. Im told by my son in law when the door was opened things started to fall out onto the ground. 5000 dollars to move my stuff like this? I have a broken TV, broken plant pots, broken furniture and many more. I dont recommend this bunch at all.
