Chaotic, ill prepared and poor execution Herlihy movers showed up with 3 smallish men to move a 3,800 sq ft house. The men worked hard but this job was too big for the number of people they sent. Then the crew told us they were finished and left. Day 2, I returned to my home and every room still had furniture and boxes in it and things scattered around. The house was sold and this was scheduled as a one day move. I had to call the owner and send photos to prove the mess.

Our experience with Herlihy was the worst move I have ever had. It costs a lot to move, so this review is a long one, but worth reading to avoid investing a huge amount of money for you and all your stuff to be treated badly. The initial estimation process for our long-distance move was great. Once we were assigned a moving coordinator, things went south really fast. Basically, she did nothing for us. Email was not answered, we had to call her every time for any updates.

Herlihy came highly recommended though we, unfortunately, had a terrible experience. The movers were inexperienced, did not work together to move things (resulting in nearly every item being damaged), and disappeared from the job for over two hours without warning. When we called corporate to see what was going on, we were told the movers did not secure the ramp that is used to load the truck and it flew off on the highway.

If possible I'd give them zero stars. Worst moving experience ever. Do yourself a favor and hire any one other than Herlihy Moving and storage.

The movers from Herlihy were fantastic. They were careful with all our belongings. The crew leader was phenomenal! He was led and trained the newer movers with kindness and patience. They were good a few problems but nothing i couldn't handle.i made sure to put them on auto pay so that took the worry off me to make sure it was paid.but they had it in my son's name and I was the one paying for it.but they protected my things and was good security fences.pretty good.
