I regret choosing Hero Movers for my recent move. They arrived late and lacked professionalism from the start. Several pieces of my furniture were damaged due to careless handling, and they didn’t use proper packing materials. To make matters worse, the movers were uncooperative and refused to listen to my concerns. The final bill was significantly higher than the initial quote, with hidden charges that were never explained. I had to deal with broken items, missing belongings, and an overall stressful experience.
If I could give them a zero, I would!!! Went from 260 for the first three hours and $110 every extra hour which equal out to $552 for four hours mind you I packed up everything and had it already downstairs in one room for them plus I brought two of my ownguys to help them. The two workers that came did more sitting in the truck than anything.

I was pleased with aspects of the move, but unfortunately there were a few things that prompted me to write a review. The positive: -They were pleasant and worked quickly. -The truck was packed really well and nothing was broken. -Good price. Less than half of what other companies quoted. The Negative: -45 minutes late, but they did call several times to update. -My couch was ruined. It was pressed up against the hand truck and other items. Photos attached. -Dragging of furniture along the floor.

Do not hire. They charged over double of what was quoted. They took their sweet time, smoked cigarettes, and stood around eating chips half the time. They must have stopped for lunch in transit to the drop off point, as it took them over an hour to arrive to a 30 min destination and charged me for the entire time. Then just dumped everything off in an unorganized mess, when each box was clearly labeled with the respective room.
Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience with Hero Movers. Communication was poor, they arrived later than expected, and the move took longer than I was led to believe. I also felt that the service didn’t match the price I paid. I hope they improve their customer service and organization for future customers.
Hired them for snow clearing services. They claimed to be insured. Took ages to get them to send an agreement full of errors. Once things were cleared up they would not send over their insurance as proof and attempted to send a fuzzy photo …
Rates are claimed to be 90 dollars for 3 hours. Well everything was done in under three hours then they charged MORE than double that. Argued about where to park the vehicle and claimed it would not be possible to park it and once they …
took 45 minutes to go from point a to b (we moved within the neighbourhood) and then charged us for an extra half hour at the end. however, they did bring the furniture to the proper rooms.
