Young man just removed a piano from house. They function well at doing it. However he was very rude. When I asked if they needed another dolly, he told me to get out of the way and to be thankful that I do not have to do it myself. I'm a good 40 years his senior and work in Healthcare. That kind of attitude in my industry would have us without a job!

I have called, texted, left voicemails, sent emails for several weeks trying to contact this company and they have never replied. The number still works and says it's Herrema & Son's Piano Co. but its as if the business has disappeared. (We had used them in the past to move a piano, so I know it was in business at one point)

Herrema and Sons failed to complete the job for me in a satisfactory way. They didn’t do due diligence when taking the job to evaluate if they could move it in properly leaving me with the piano in my garage instead of my house during 80* weather days, and referring me to another company as a solution. They then initially asked for full payment without considering the fact they had left me in a situation where I had to hire someone else to do the job that they had said they could do, more than doubling my costs.

Worst case of non-communication ever. I have called and texted numerous times over the last month or so and have had exactly ONE reply from them. So no, they do NOT come take away pianos OR give values of a piano that you might have. My friend was reaching out to them during the same time period and did not get a single response.

I cannot express what an incredible experience we had with Tyler and his team! Tyler was incredibly responsive and helpful, willing to take my calls and text when I needed to as well. The whole team was careful with our new-to-us piano, respectful to us and our home, and truly a joy to work and chat with. Thank you Herrema & Sons for making this such a smooth and fun experience!

Tyler and his team helped safely move our two large/cumbersome wooden bookcases in early May, 2025. Both pieces have glass doors and the larger of the two is nearly eight feet long, to give a scope of the size. They were punctual, courteous and most importantly they were very capable. I was quite nervous about moving these items - as they are beloved and would have been challenging to repair or replace. It turns out I had nothing to worry about.
I fully expected piano movers to be capable of moving pianos, but they made it look too easy! Super fast and friendly, I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to move a piano!
I had taken piano lessons as a kid and tried to get back into it as an adult recently. I only had a Casio PX-110 digital piano to practice with and found it very discouraging to practice for hours each week on the Casio only to show up to my lesson where I was expected to play what I had learned on a Yamaha acoustic and not be able to perform it well.
This was a fun project. I'm so glad you decided to paint it. And I couldn't believe the pics you sent me. Incredible. You must have a nice camera. Thank you for taking the time to write all this. It was a pleasure working with you!
