In their own words
Highland moved us from Richmond, B.C. to Ottawa. It was a Nightmare from HELL. They assured us everything would go smoothly. They Lied. Moving Van showed up 3 hrs. late. Wrong size truck, needed to reload 2Xs and took till 9P.M. just to get goods out of house. Upon arrival in Ottawa, showed up 4 hrs late. Employees hired to unload didn't care about goods. Dropped boxes, scratch and broke items. We were in tears. Total damage over $5,000.00. Driver offered us $400.00 cash to not put in a claim.
Sorry for your negative experience. It was our understanding that this was resolved between Atlas Van Lines and yourself. If this was not taken care of to your satisfaction, please let us know by contacting Arlene.
On delivery a walk into them arguing with my building manager unprofessionally, I also witnessed them rolling my book self end over end as they were to lazy to pick it up and carry it… there was also damage to multiple pieces of furniture that they will not owe up too. They are unprofessional and as a result I am leaving this review to warn others.
Be prepared for your wife to be pissed off if you hire Highland movers through Atlas van lines. They put a hole through the entry wall on load up. Then they broke furniture and expensive belongings on the unload. They hired 3 different smaller firms to manage the claim so it was impossible to communicate and hold them accountable. Months later, they finally dealt with it which was another calamity of errors. Avoid the headache and find someone else to help with your move.

We moved to Germany and hired them to move our stuff in June 6 2018. It’s now mid November and we still don’t have our belongings. Not to talk about the employees who picked up our boxes.. one smelled like liquor, the woman spend most of her time typing on her phone... not happy!!!!

Very poor driving of someone driving a truck in the lower mainland today - tried to bully himself into a merge and then drove alongside two cars in one single lane when they wouldn't heed to him. Videos have been sent to the main email.

One of their drivers in a semitruck tailgated me on the highway and then almost clipped my front end while weaving in and out of lanes doing at least 120km/hr trying to pass people. Absolutely ridiculous.
Thank you for your information, if we could get information as to time and place it would help us to identify the specific driver so that we can deal with your concerns as this type of driving is not acceptable to us.
They crashed into my truck then refused to take any responsibility for it. Careless driving drivers probably also just as careless with your belongings.

We are moving from Vancouver to the UK. We hired Highland movers and from the time we contacted them till they came to the pack, they have been fantastic. Eric and Ronald arrived on time, very pleasant to deal with. Awesome experience. working in the storage industry i have dealt with many bad players but go with this company. you will not be disappointed.

Super experience with Queen and Daniel (the move managers) and the moving team. Very communicative and helpful. Also, nothing got broken with my shipment from Vancouver, Canada to Paris, France. I would highly recommend them.

Awesome service. We were happy from the first moment we calked and got our quote. Arlene and Christine were awesome to work with and both teams in Surrey and Cochrane did an awesome job with packing and unpacking the entire house. Highly recommend. Also price wise Highland was 40% less than other competitors.
