In their own words
Extremely difficult move with Hingham Moving Company. Keys lost, furniture damaged, boxes mislabeled, packed in chaos, and misplaced, fragile and sentimental heirlooms broken. Owner was dismissive and insulting about concerns, saying that “little things that happen” and told me I was “just having a difficult time.” Promised everything, delivered the most stressful part of the move. The experience was unprofessional and disappointing.
Very poor experience in dealing with owner over some issues we had with our move. The quoted price increased from what we billed. Not every move is going to be perfect, learn from the mistakes & handle in a professional manner.
Unfortunately I have to give our move a three out of 5 stars. The move started out great. The movers where nice and accommodating. They had some issues including having a heavy piece of furniture damage a wall and the furniture. Other issues where minor, a dent in a freezer and a couple of wheels broken off a grill and a tool chest. We had no concerns since we thought our move included insurance. When the move was finished, we paid our Bill which included extra time. We where fine with the added expense.
First let me say when they showed up totally professional was extremely impressed with the whole crew. Took care of everything I asked and then some. Then we got to the new place small accident put a ding in the wall they came up and told …

In their own words
Had the best experience today with Hingham Moving Services. From start to finish, it was an awesome experience, something I have never said about our many moves. The movers were so friendly, kind, careful, and professional. They moved everything with so much care but were extremely efficient. We are so grateful and highly recommend to anyone in need of moving services.
Great moving experience recently with Hingham Moving Services. I had to reschedule and they were very accommodating. Communication was a 10/10. Danny and the team were prompt, professional, polite, and friendly. They took great care of my belongings. Happy to say they made the entire process stress-free.
Hingham Movers are hands down Priceless!! We had a team of 8 gentlemen handling a double address move with speed, skill & precision. We also asked them to help us out with some remaining construction items and we were met with a, “no problem, glad to help” brigade that showed up and executed exactly what we needed at the last minute, and again quoted us exactly what we paid. There are no hidden costs! When I began my search for a moving company, I interviewed 2 from Best of Boston magazine.
Top notch! I've never used a moving service and Josh was very helpful in getting us set up. Their price was very reasonable and was not uncharged with any surprises. Big shout out to Juan and his crew. These guys worked so hard, were very patient with my older parents and did a fantastic job! Danny, Juan, Andrew, Byron and Bianco. Unreal work ethic and excellent service. Would 100% recommend them to anyone.
