In and Out Movers

Long story short...Horrible experience !! Never use them !! They were one and half days late to load furniture, charged lot more than original estimate, damaged coffee table and bed frame, took 4 days to deliver for 3.5 hours drive. We used In and Out Movers to move from Virginia to New Jersey on memorial day weekend. They were supposed to come on Saturday morning to pick up our goods but kept telling us they are about 2 hours late for 36 hours.

I only give 1 star because the road crew were great hardworking guys. Where do I begin? - I was scheduled for a pack and haul to storage while waiting for my house to sell and buy a new house, then deliver my stored things to my new house. my house was packed up and staged for real estate. All personal items were boxed and stored in a portable pod outside. Only the bare minimum furniture items were left in the house for staging purposes.

Volatile and rude... Movers flipped out when I disagreed with the time estimate that I quoted them 2 weeks ahead the morningof the move. They became rude and tried to leave. I was so shocked. Never a worse feeling even more than negotiating my divorce. Such bad customer service. I told the head guy 3 times I understood what "estimate means".

DO NOT USE if you have expensive furniture!!!! the workers are nice and courteous, I under stand accidents happens, but take care of your customer when you mess up.!!!! don't beat around the bush about prices. be straight up. don't scam people in believing and agreeing to a price and then charge them more afterwards. I called around to multiple movers and all were about the same price, except this establishment.

This is by far the worst experience I could have imagined in a moving company. We were told four different confirmation days for a delivery, none of which were followed through with. Finally, we were confirmed to have our furniture delivered with a two-hour time frame of 5-7 pm. I got a call from the driver at 7:15 pm saying he would be at the apartment at 10:00 pm on a weeknight! This company has no consideration for your work schedules or lives. The communication within the employees simply does not exist.

Do Not Use In and Out Movers. Horrible horrible crooks. Came to our house, gave us an estimate of $6700, 6800lbs .70 a pound. We packed all our stuff. 2,600 sq ft home. 3 other moving companies provided quotes of $8k and $9k. I went with In and Out. Igal the salesman was so nice offered a military discount dropped the price to $6100. We spoke to him 2 months in advance. I sent 5 emails asking for confirmation because our travel plans changed.

Worst Moving Experience ever! I got overcharged due to the movers intentionally moving slow. It’s $150/hr so they will do everything in their power to move slow. They showed up two hours early and billed me for that. In doing so, they mislabeled my boxes already labeled, packed the way they wanted and wrapped everything up that was already packed just to waste time. They legit wrapped up wrapping paper I had from Home Depot. I also packed before they arrived. All they had to do was wrap the furniture and go.

***DO NOT USE AT ALL COSTS*** My wife and I scheduled our move with this company weeks in advance. The day before the move I get a call basically telling me instead of 9 like agreed upon, they were instead coming at 12. I hesitantly agreed but really there was no choice. Day of our move it's 1:00pm and no movers in sight. I call the business and am told there are "charging issues" with anothe customer and the movers will be at the house at TWO IN THE AFTERNOON AT BEST. At this point, I'm furious.
