Just about every single box, piece of furniture, etc. had damage to it. I have a 12" scratch in my new hardwood floors. A 9" scrape in solid wood and missing piece of metal leg in my desk. My solid pine bed has a chip and a dent in two different places from being dropped both outside on the street and inside my new apartment (the latter which caused the 12" scratch in my floor). My lamps and similar items were placed without any protection into a wardrobe box-- and 4 lamps are broken.
Review for IPS NYC MOVING & STORAGE 11/18/24 The only good thing about this company was the communication with Peter. I had a very disappointing experience with this moving company. From start to finish, their service fell far short of what was promised. First, the employees they sent were not friendly or professional. Out of the three movers, only one seemed to be working, while the others wasted time, which significantly delayed the move.
Hello, completely unprofessional. At first I was sold with their services and prices. John sold me on the their team. Unfortunately I called to inform them that the new apartment was not ready and that was the fault of the landlord, he got very upset although I know I will lose the deposit, which is understandable.

Don't let this company fool you. Horrible service. Worker broke my wife's porcelain vase that cost us over 300 dollars and did not reimburse us.

When I was looking for a mover, lots of offers came from many companies. IPS was the second lowest price and I was convinced by John to award them the move.
