I was in the hospital due to labor/delivery complications and separated from my baby and family for five days. My world was upside down and Marcelo’s Movers only increased our distress. They showed up later than the 1-6pm window they had given us, only did less than half of the job, left early, destroyed my family heirloom dining room table, and then tried to blame it all on my husband.

Marcelo’s came 4 hours late with no tools. They didn’t have the capability of doing the job without said tools and my home was damaged in the process. I’ve attempted multiple ways of resolving this but haven’t received a single response. Don’t hire them they are not a professional moving company. Update: 5 days later and Marcelo’s mover have reached out and refunded $100 out of the $650 cost of the move which doesn’t even cover the cost of repairs.

BE CAREFULL WITH This moving company because they took advantage of a retired pastor and his wife in their 80 's unable to pack or carry boxes. the staff working for this company did not explained the charges when I called they were not able to explain the charges to me I donot understand why so much money this couple did not have big bulky furniture they had few boxes and some were already packed. Its pretty disgusting !!!!

You may think your getting a good price than they send slow workers so they can stack on overtime fees they did not honor my reservation movers were a full day late 481 i was quoted & movers tried to charge me 900 in the end save money & go to a real company. They were a full 24hours late & arrived in a uhal rental broke furniture.

The movers themselves were not the problem. Not sure who gave me a call the day before my move date but they called to reassure me that everything should go smoothly and on time which was a big factor for me. I was moving to a new building …

The service was terrible. I caught the 2 movers dragging my armoire down the stairs. And I’m glad I caught it. This was September 2024 and I still haven’t been compensated. Be careful people ☹️

Great communication and follow up. The men arrived on time, texting 30 minutes before they arrived. The move went very quickly and efficiently. The estimate was showed all charges clearly and where, if necessary there might be additional charges.

We moved a large number of paintings, delicate, and precise instructions were followed. Polite crew. Everything went smoothly. And the booking was very expedient. I was booking myself at 71 because my daughter was not there. It was super easy !! I recommend it
