Jackson Movers - Moving, Packing & Storage

The worst movers I have ever used and I have moved a lot. Rude, unprofessional theives, delayed delivery of items, demanded more money and I REFUSED they then held my items hostage days past my delivery date not that I believe they would have delivered on time if I had of paid. They then broke and intentionally damaged my new furniture as well as stole jewelry out of boxes they punched through to get to! I suggest you do not use them or any broker connected to them they are all liars and theives.

At first I was happy with Jackson Movers. They came and gave a good estimate. Day of packing/loading they were on time, appeared to pack everything well that they had to pack. Bill ended up being a few thousand more than was quoted. They told us it would be just a couple of weeks and we would have our items in Wyoming from Texas. We gave a very nice tip. No communication was had after that, really. I would have to ask about our items. We finally got our items delivered at around 25 days.

One of the worst service i have ever faced with this movers. They have damaged and missed 4 items which worth $3000 and now the response from the customer service is very bad. For the damaged one they are giving 60 cents per pound and for missing parts doing the same.

I had my stuff picked up onThe 16th of June the agreement at the beginning was for 2900 and some change after the movers loaded it I find out that it jumped up to 3800 pluz after the guys that picked up my stuff and left i got a call from jackson telling me that my movers were gonna be there late even though they have already got my stuff and left now here it is july 11th darn near 30 days after this company picks up my stuff and I still til this day have not got my stuff delivers to me nor has a planner even…

Avoid Jackson Movers – My Terrible Experience I hired Jackson Movers for my move from Texas to Washington, D.C., paying nearly $4,500 (including insurance) in four installments. Unfortunately, their service was horrible, and I strongly advise against using them. * Lack of Communication: They promised regular updates but provided none. I had to call repeatedly, only to receive vague, robotic responses.

I booked my move with Swift Shift Van Lines, but they outsource all of their jobs. They sent three guys from Jackson Movers. They were awful. Two of the guys didn’t speak English and the foreman, who did speak English, disappeared for most of the packing, so I couldn’t even communicate with the guys packing my stuff. The first thing they did was drop one of my expensive crystals and then claimed that is was already broken.

The moving company, despite presenting itself as a reliable service provider, has demonstrated deeply unethical behavior by engaging in what amounts to theft. Rather than offering the support and transparency one would expect during the already stressful process of relocating, they have actively made the situation worse. Items have gone missing under their care without explanation, and any attempts to seek accountability or even basic customer support are met with avoidance, deflection, or complete silence.

TERRIBLE MOVERS. DO NOT RECOMMEND. 85% of my boxes were damaged or partially crushed. Two lamps were broken, two boxes were not delivered, and dents were made in my belongings. Seven boxes that had tons of FRAGILE stickers on them were damaged, and apparently had other boxes stacked on top of them, because the boxes were crushed on the tops and torn on the sides, especially on the tops - where I had written “Do Not Stack Boxes on Top.” 40% of fragile items were broken.
