Two Men and a Truck Moving

You are rolling the dice depending on the crew with Two Men and a Truck. You see the owners note below; they are comfortable with a few bad reviews per month. Use Jonah’s Movers instead as they have 100% good reviews- no moves like mine. We have moved 3 times with a similar set up and I can’t begin to describe how bad it was from start to finish.

This crew was very careless with my property. They banged furniture into walls, scarring both the newly painted wall and my furniture. They scratched my brand new flooring and in general couldn't have given much less concern for my property if they tried. Personal property of some value disappeared from my dining table that I was using as a desk. The property was on the table when I was called by one of the crew to confirm moving some furniture. Upon returning to the table I saw my property was gone.

Horrible and argumentative manager . An employee damaged one of our items in a move to the extent that it can't be used . Our claim was rejected and they kept the insurance fee we paid for prior tot he move. Because the item was under the deductible they felt like the case is closed and they can just move on without any sense of good business practice toward the customer. I had to call many times to get an update on status of claim.

Absolutely Awful. I was scheduled to have my move from 1PM - 4PM - the moving team didn't show up until 6:30 PM. Over 2 hours late. They showed up with a dirty truck from previously moving a Charcoal BBQ Pit. The truck was covered in soot - inside and out - causing irreparable damage to my couches. So, basically I paid them $500+ to ruin a $3000+ couch. So my honest and unbiased opinion is DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR FURNITURE.

I had used this company twice before, the last time 3 years ago, and NEVER had a problem! The crew was always great, and nothing got damaged. So naturally, I chose them with our most recent move without a second thought....what a nightmare! The crew did hustle, I give them that, but one of the crew members was playing loud, vulgar music that we could all hear, and multiple pieces (about 7) of my furniture was damaged. Im not talking a tiny scratch, but gouges out of my new furniture.

I will never use a moving company again. First of all, I now have strangers that I do not trust that know where I live. Second of all, you don't know what quality of person you are going to get. I moved from a 700 SF apartment on a first floor to another 700 SF apartment on a second floor. Some details I cannot share because I do not want to make a stranger that knows where I live and that I live alone angry.

We picked Two Men And A Truck based on the reviews we saw here on Google ... and then we immediately regretted our decision. Guys came in an unmarked truck, and then immediately had issues moving our furniture. They were quick moving us out of our house, but nearly toppled our fence over in the process. The two guys seemed to do a good job, but then.... We moved into our new place. It had stairs, which was precisely the reason we wanted movers.

Bait and switch method by amateur movers. If I could give them zero stars I would. If you are considering using this company you might as well flush your money down the toilet I was quoted 4 to 6 hours to move a two bedroom (without kitchen appliances) to a house, 10 minutes away Two movers showed up at 8.30am and told me since we were located on a third floor and not a second floor, the move will take 7 hours. Since I didn't catch their mistake for the floor location on the estimate I said find.
