In their own words
This was the worst move of my life! I have an antique chair that I inherited from my mother. They asked what furniture was special and delicate and this was one of the items. It arrived with its leg almost completely broken off. For this chair that they knew was valued at 1500 dollars, and will cost me 1200 dollars to fix, I will receive $18.00. Supposedly this is my fault because I "chose" a low insurance rate for the move. The man who unloaded it said it was jammed onto a much bigger chair.
Used for a company relocation and I was not impressed at all. Moving day the movers showed up late, I had to constantly call and remind them of when and where I was going to be moving and to make sure I was still 'on schedule'. Use someone else if you can
Overall, this has been one of the worst experiences my wife and I have had for a relocation. My daughter's bed was improperly assembled by the crew upon delivery, multiple other pieces were destroyed, damage to my house occurred. Improper hardware was used, and some hardware was missing; I had to partially disassemble and reassemble the bed myself when I was supposed to be at work. No notice was given to us that this occurred, when it was very easy for the movers to inform us as they were assembling.
If I could choose half a star I would. We chose North American from previous move. This was a cross ctry move from Texas to Florida. This time they fell very short. Movers had dirty soiled hands and were very sloppy. No gloves. Left large stains on my white linen furnture after they dripped sweat and wiped their hands on it. Left indentations on my maghoney furniture. MANY things wrapped in boxes were broken from not being packaged appropriately. Many of my antique China pieces were broken that are irreplaceable.

Terrible customer service. I used them a little over a year ago and they were great, this time, TERRIBLE. they lost items and said there was not proof that it was their fault (BECAUSE THEY DELIVERED WHILE I WAS AT WORK SO I COULDNT GO THROUGH THE INVENTORY), they misquoted me and charged me more at load day and it took them over a week to get from Texas to Indiana. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I DO NOT recommend using Roger Ward-San Antonio if you are looking to relocate your property or household goods out of state. I was first misled by their move consultant J.A. then disappointed with the lack of Corporate follow up regarding failure to deliver on date as contracted. I recommend using A-1 FREEMAN NORTH AMERICAN Vanlines<they are honest and professional!
They caused many expensive items to be damaged with how they packed things, packed stuff like food that we asked not to be packed, and got some weird paint on furniture as well as scratched up a lot of it.

I've made over twenty long distance moves in my life. The crews that handled my move from San Antonio, Texas to Sister Bay, Wisconsin were the absolute best I've had. Both, loading to take to storage and the crew that drove to Wisconsin and unloaded. They were professional, showed exceptional care with our belongings, very friendly and hard working. There was no damage to our furnishings. I give the crews five stars.

This was my third cross country move and by far the easiest!! Erika and Elizabeth coordinated every detail perfectly, from my household goods survey to scheduling pick up and drop off times. They even provided used boxes at no cost to me. They were always available to answer questions with accuracy and professionalism. Zachary and his loading and unloading crews were absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough positive things about Zachary.

Ward North American just finished moving our household from San Antonio to Cave Creek Arizona. Jaden did the inventory and provided us with a fair price; Nick coordinated the process and Carlos and his crew packed and moved our stuff to our new home in Az.
