The rating breakdown
Google shows 8 ratings for this business. Below twenty, a percentage swings too far on a single review to mean anything, so we don’t publish one. 3 of those are one or two star.

Counts as published by Google in its star breakdown, not the reviews we have read. Google also publishes a review count, which does not always match this total. Each row is rounded on its own, so the shares need not add to exactly 100%.
What the complaints say
Moving goes wrong in a small number of specific ways. These are the ones reviewers describe in the low-star reviews we have read for Janek Moving Services, counted by matching the words they used.
- Crew conduct1 · 50%
Counted across the 2 one and two star reviews we have read for Janek Moving Services. A review can describe more than one problem, so these do not add to 100%. Each share is rounded on its own.

Dishonest, untrustworthy and rude people. Do not do business with these people. I hired them for three movers to come, then they only sent two guys which literally doubled the amount of time for the move (thereby doubling the cost). When I called to complain that it wasn't what we had agreed upon, the woman blamed me for the change and then threatened to cancel the move altogether on the day of my move when I was in a bind.
I’m Dustin’s grandmother and am writing in reference to his honest review. I was at his apartment when he called the moving company the first time to set up the appointment and when the movers loaded his belongings. My intent is not to discredit the company as a whole, but rather to raise the owners’ awareness of the incompetence of two of their employees. I heard the phone conversation between Dustin and Stephanie where she assured him they would send three movers and could certainly fit him in that day.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
Professional, accommodating, fast, and friendly. If you’re in need of a good moving company, look no further. They can be reached via phone or text, and they accept credit cards as well. I have used Janek in the past and I will be using them again if need be. The owners were very friendly and responsive to all of my questions and concerns. They even sent me a card a few weeks after my move. These people really care about their customers.
We moved from Dallas to Waco in March 2021 and used Janik Moving. I felt they went above and beyond in service and effort to make things as pleasant as possible during a stressful period for us. I could not have been happier with our experience. I’m taking the time 3 months later to review just because I saw the negative reviews. I don’t doubt other people’s negative experiences, but I want the public to know that we had a very positive experience and would use them again.
This has honestly been the best, most professional moving company I have ever had the pleasure of doing businesses with. They really care about the moving experience for an individual and make sure to take extra care of their belongings without sacrificing time efficiency. The guys were friendly and very respectful and I would recommend this company to anyone who wants to experience a fun, stress-free move!
The guys were awesome!!!!!! They were courteous, personable, professional & fast. They got it all loaded in half the minimum time, but who cares I didn't have to do it. GREAT JOB!!!!
What Google’s own summary highlights
Google surfaces topics it finds across a business’s reviews. They skew positive across every mover we hold, so treat them as a summary of what this company is praised for rather than a balanced picture.
